Drone show was excellent

Drone show was excellent. Really enjoyed it and was nice that we were informed early on that the show was delayed so we didn't turn up to early as it was a cold day.

Over Priced and under delivered

if I’d paid just for the music, I would have been unhappy, i thought i was at a karaoke, sorry the girls who sung were out of tune, I wasn’t happy from b4 I arrived, very expensive for the tickets and then extra for me being in my seat and extra for me to eat my own picnic so they don’t lose money & then another email to say by the way it’s £7 to park, I thought the light show was ok, but nothing special & then when I got back to my car, some idiot had reversed into it and didn’t have the decency to leave a note and just drove off, fortunately there were witnesses. So bad from start to finish

I found the pricing awful

I found the pricing awful. I paid for the show. Then had to pay for parking. On top of that was expected to pay extra to bring seating and food. I paid for one chair which 4 of us took turns on. And brought something for my grandchild to eat. I had a coffee bought for me which was tasteless. Just water and a bit of milk froth. At this time of year the music was a waste of time. I respect that the spacesafari show needs to make money. But I think the secondary charges will make this show more prohibitive for some family groups. Most people had come with children so I think it would be better to just keep to the light show.

Very disapointed not worth the price…

Very disapointed not worth the price was way over exagerated on advertisement nothing like what we was expecting. Everything was overpriced masively. would not recomend to anyone nor will we be visiting again. I would say the organizer has done bare minimal and maximum gains. What adds to the negative is the organizer never even responds when you contact him

Very disappointed would like a refund

Very disappointed would like a refund. For what we paid we were disappointed. Food was very overpriced and cold. The hot chocolate stand wasn’t great at all very watery, the lines were ridiculous needed more food vendors and definitely more hot drink stalls. £5 for hook a duck is ridiculous for 1 go! The tribute actors wasn’t very good. Good job we wrapped up as It was freezing and the wait for the drown show was very long and kept getting told 5 minutes till there up so was later then what we go updated. The drones were great! But the story telling wasn’t something for everyone. Was expecting more of an wow! Was expecting a longer performance for what we paid and the wait. I had a 3 month old baby and a 6 year old and nowhere to get out of the cold for even a little bit. The parking was £7! Which you would have thought would have been included in the price and then for it to be so chaotic and not well managed at all to exit the field was ridiculous. We would definitely not be returning under these circumstances. Improvements need to be made! I would like a refund as wasn’t a pleasant outing.

Boring and over priced!

Boring and over priced! We didn't know the event was aimed at children so the storyline (which was very random!) wasn't exactly interesting to listen to as 4 adults. The delay was unfortunate and apparently due to the winds but it was freezing and hardly anywhere to get hot drinks (most places weren't doing them for the evening or had 'run out') There was so little to do, apart from a few overpriced fairground rides - maybe a marquee (given the time of year) with some stalls in etc... we to go to lots of events at the Showground and have never had to pay for parking so that was frustrating, too!All in all, a boring evening which was overpriced from start to finish and we won't be going again. The idea of it was lovely but executed very badly!

We went to the lincoln drone show and… its was fantastic! They images where brilliant and the story

We went to the lincoln drone show and had a fabulous time. The acts on stage were really good and we enjoyed dancing and singing along. The kids enjoyed the fair rides and there was a good selection of food retailers (although these were rather pricy). The drones show its self was fantastic and was well worth the wait. I so happy it was safe enough to go ahead and we will definitely book again when a different show is on.

The Space Safari was really impressive…

The Space Safari was really impressive especially as it was still quite windy. I can't comment about the fair, food or entertainment as I only went for the drone show as it was so cold but I'm pleased I went. I was surprised to get out of the carpark in 5 minutes. I would go again if it was a different theme

Kids were bored, unorganised.

The drones individual imagery were great, butt he story was very long winded and I saw little ones struggling to keep their attention span to it, my two little ones included. The whole concept of safari animals in space just didnt seem to go together. And the same image a few times with the drone. Food and drink massively over priced and wasnt either cooked greatly or burnt. No shelter at all for the kids, considering your hosting in march, there should have been something.Bit worst of all was the car park situation. No signage for exiting, free for all rushing. No order coming from the staff. We waited 1 hour 20 mins to exit! After a late show for the drone, getting home at midnight isnt exactly what I had planned for a nice evening out. Definitely needed order. Some bully cars forcing themselves through. And then the wagon and foot couriers were allowed exotic before us. And we left to go the car as they were still selling. Unfortunately the overall set up was unorganised, felt sorry for everyone that had been there since 4pm. Not a lot to do in 5 hours til the show ended. We won't be returning for any event here, just incase the same organisers are in charge.

Badly organsised

We had a good time, but were absolutely freezing, it was bitter cold and having to wait the extra hour felt like torture, especially with children. The tribute acts were pretty poor, but they must have been freezing, an open stage meant that they would have been unable to preform had there been any rain! The food stalls were on the very edge of the site, so quite a walk from the other entertainment and it made the feel of the site a little disappointing. The prices were ridiculous £15 for a child’s sausage (no other filling) and chips!!We queued for 40 minutes to get a hot drink only to be told when we got there that they had ‘run out of milk! A better choice and quality of food is definitely required if running the event again!Every vendor was extremely expensive £3.60 for 100g of pick and mix?? As others have said the parking wasn’t organised and getting off the field was a dangerous free for all! At £7 per car there should be the ability to have people control g the exit. The drone display was great…if a little childish, but only lasted 20 minutes.Compared to the firework events at Belvoir castle it was very poor.Come on Lincoln Showground, you can do better!!
