very very slow customer support, they have the same issue in namecheap and now in spaceship, they keep asking you to wait 5-10 minutes again and again everytime even for a very smal task or even for a question
WORST DOMAIN SERVICE IN MY DEVELOPER LIFE!!!
I recently registered a domain with Spaceship for a software development project I’m building. As a solo developer, I was excited to use their platform, but my experience turned into a nightmare. Shortly after registration, my domain was terminated without any valid explanation other than a generic "violation" claim.
I fully cooperated with their support team, explaining that I am an individual developer and my project is in the early stages. Despite my transparency, they terminated the service and REFUSED to provide a refund, citing their "sole right" to keep my money.
It is extremely unfair for a company to take payment, provide no service, and then hide behind legal clauses to deny a refund. If you are an individual developer or a small business, be very careful. your investment could vanish instantly with no way to get it back. I expected much more from a Namecheap-affiliated company. Very disappointed.
Spaceship is by far the best domain provider I’ve used. I’ve tried many different companies before, but I’ve never been this satisfied.
The platform offers a lot of useful features and tools, everything is fast and easy to use, and most things are set up within seconds. The interface is clean and intuitive. Support replies quickly, is friendly, and actually helpful. No complaints there at all. Clear 5-star experience.
The only downside in my opinion is the pricing for email slots. Even though the Pro plan includes five email accounts, additional email slots are relatively expensive. Depending on your project, you often need more. It would be great to see lower prices for email accounts or maybe even an unlimited option in a higher plan.
Other than that, absolutely solid service. Highly recommended.
The platform seems to have "good rates" at first but it really adds up when you have multiple emails and you have to pay almost $5 CAD per month for EACH mailbox. Very disappointing They should be charging per domain, not per mailbox, this is ridiculous, if you have 100 employees, you are now paying $500 per month for emails. Beyond ridiculous
I am looking to switch platforms.
We have absolutely loved using Spaceship for our domain and website needs. Navigating throughout all of our products and services is easy and painless, and support is incredibly helpful if ever you run into any difficulties. We will happily be staying with Spaceship now and into the future, knowing we're being led by the new industry powerhouse and frontrunner. Much love from the AkashicTribe! 💚🦊
I’m extremely satisfied with my experience. The whole process was smooth, fast, and very well organized from start to finish. The platform is user-friendly, transparent, and everything works exactly as expected.
Poor customer services. It looks like some glitch with displaying emails occurred. I am sorry for this. Please rest assured that the issue will be fixed soon. they just respond with no fix solution only sorry which is not what I paid for. I paid for good customer service that fix the problem not just I'm sorry or apologize. Spaceship has lost or hidden my transfer email
I’ve been utilizing a hosting service for my website and I’m very pleased with the results. The pricing is quite reasonable, and the performance has been reliable. I’m also using a few add-ons, including a backend server for about $5 per month, which offers great value. Everything functions seamlessly, and the setup process was easy. Overall, a fantastic experience.
Transferring over 40 domains to this service turned out to be a major mistake. The parking page functionality is consistently unreliable, and the AI provides incorrect guidance. Despite the support team assuring me via email that they would assist if the AI failed, their response was to direct me back to the AI when I sought help. They even suggested I let the AI change all my domains to parking pages, which would disrupt several live websites. When I mentioned filing a complaint, they retaliated by implementing two-factor authentication that I didn't request, claiming a code was sent, but I never received it. Attempts to resend the code were futile, and I ended up locked out due to too many login attempts. Reaching out through chat proved unhelpful, and now I'm locked out entirely due to their security measures. I plan to move my domains away from this service as soon as I can regain access.
The pricing and customer support were satisfactory. However, the website should have directly informed me about the typo in my credit card number instead of sending an invoice that misleadingly indicated the transaction was successful, only to cryptically mention "failed" next to the purchased items. This led me to contact customer support and wait eight minutes for clarification that it was merely an error with my card entry.
