Review Time
Ordered replacement contacts 14th November. Received update via email 2nd December ,order delayed - standard excuses- nothing definitive. 8th December I called the 0800 number and was told they had been dispatched then line went dead. I phoned back waited 5 minutes for my turn in line. Got a different person who told me the order had not been dispatched. Said they would contact my local Specsavers to organize samples which would be supplied express. Meantime I have no contacts and no idea when the order will be filled. Very frustrated.
Have worn glasses for 30 years and have been using specsavers for at least half that time. And out of all their stores ive been to, Thames is hands down the best. The staff at Thames specsavers are an awesome bunch. Knowledgeable and helpful, warm and friendly. They made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. From testing my eye site to picking out frames and getting them fitted. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. And when you've got to have these things on your face every waking moment, the experience makes a difference. Will definitely go back again.
I ordered contact lenses on 21 November both in store and on the Specsavers website. The website order was delivered 30 December. I finally received a email from Specsavers to say they were delayed but now ETA etc. I still haven't been notified of the in store order. The testing was good but communication on orders is not.
