Review Time
After one of the arms of a pair of my glasses came loose, my wife took them back to the Strood branch for advice. Nothing was actually physically broken, just the arm mounting worked itself out. I thought that they might just be able to glue it in again for me.Anyway, a few weeks later I received a Text stating, "Your glasses are rready to collect", so I went to the shop. It was very busy, so I was asked to wait. No problem. After a while I needed a wee, so I asked if I could use the loo. They said that they didn't have one, which I can't believe. So I said I'd have to come back. I came back a few days later, when I had my granddaughter with me and the shop was empty. We sat down and waited for the lady to find the frames. She couldn't find them. After 20 minutes of us sitting there, she did manage to find them. Very unprofessional! Then she announced, "That will cost £45 to change the lenses over, as it was now just over the year". I asked why you didn't tell my wife that. To which she replied, "Oh, I'm ver sorry. We should have". I walked out. What a total waste of my and your time. Totally incompetent! I'm not sure how long they will last, but I went home and Gorilla glued them back together.
