Review Time
I have moved to a different part of the country and was recommended to go to this opticians, and i can honestly say i was not sorry, very lovely welcoming staff, diligent eye testing with upto date machinery, and an acceptable waiting time for receiving my new glasses.
So, I found the eye test to be very good and thorough with the Clinician lookig after me very well. However, I am absolutely appalled and dismayed to find that my glass prescription on collection was utterly and totally wrong. I required reading glasses and the ones prepared for me were utterly unuseable. I could not see one thing at any distance out of them. When the Technician checked, I had been given distance glasses that were of no effect whatsoever with my natural eyesight at distance being the same as the glasses. So to date I am STILL without my glasses for reading which I need and have had to go to Tesco to get some generic glasses just so I can have vision when I read. When or if I recieve any glasses I have paid for from Specsavers remains to be seen !!!!!
