It can be intimidating to walk into a shop which obviously sells high quality merchandise. Often the staff are a bit snooty and pretentious. Not so Strathberry!
I was lured into the shop in Edinburgh by a beautiful handbag in the window with a silk scarf wrapped around the handle in a pleasingly intricate fashion. The staff were friendly but not smothering. They were happy to answer any questions but, beyond that, excited to tell me about the company.
I had to meet someone for lunch so told them I would pop back afterwards. I did just that to find different staff there (shift change!) who were equally friendly and helpful.
I bought a small navy blue handbag with a silk wrap on the handle. I used it last night for the first time and it made me feel really special. The bag is beautiful and well made. The customer service was excellent.
I am already planning on buying one for my best friend's birthday!

I ordered the hobo bag in caramel on December 31, and it arrived on January 6 in Canada. Considering the weekends and holidays, the shipping was quite swift. I received updates throughout the process. The bag is stunning, and the leather quality is outstanding. I'm truly in love with it and believe it will be my perfect work bag.

This wallet was a holiday gift, and it turned out to be very disappointing. I carefully looked at the 'What fits' section and the official video before buying, which claimed it could fit an iPhone 14 Plus, AirPods, lipstick, and keys. However, in reality, it only fits a phone. I even provided evidence showing that not even a standard lipstick fits alongside the phone. Customer service insists it fits everything, contradicting my experience. I want to return it due to this misrepresentation, but I'm being charged for the return on a product that doesn’t match its online description. The wallet is well made, but misleading claims and a rigid return policy overshadow its quality.
I really love this bag, but there are a few small spots that I can't tell if they are part of the finish or if the leather is damaged. There are also scratches on the handle, and the hardware has marks and residue. I'm undecided about returning it since it was meant to be a Christmas gift.
