I live in a gaf in cardiff supplied by these fellas. Honestly top tier landlords, the house is lush and any maintenance issues are resolved pretty much next day - shoutout Gav, coffee is on tap for you always. Looking forward to the next year renting from SC!
I've been with Student Cribs for 2 years, and the team is phenomenal. The properties are some of the best student houses in Cardiff, and their maintenance team are second to none. Specifically, this year, Geth and Gav have been amazing and very friendly, and they do an incredible job every time. Would highly recommend getting a house with Student Cribs.
Avoid buying your uni house from this company at all costs, the positive review are most certainly fake because in no way do they have good customer service, in fact that have by far the worst customer service of any company I’ve ever come by. The day I moved into the flat the place was covered in mould with broken furniture everywhere (which they tried to charge us for before any of us had even visited the flat) I’m a severe asthmatic so as soon as I saw the mould I knew I couldn’t move in so requested that I leave, they then tried charging me for the following 4 months where I wouldn’t be even living there but I was okay with this, they also said I must find a replacement and after weeks of looking I managed to get one and they tried charging her the full payment of 4 months there along with the 4 months payment I paid when she would have only lived there 1 week before the next quarterly payment and obviously she dropped. In between all of this they would take minimum a week between every email and even saying in the emails that I will get a call to sort this out, purposely longing the whole process out so they could get more rent money out of me. It all became beyond a joke soI simply said I’m not going to give them any money and they can just removing as a tenant and be done with all this which they refused even though they were the ones who breached the contract with mould. This was an on going thing from August to December, I’ve been to the house once and they continue to try take money from me. This company are genuine scumbags they know they are dealing with young adults and take advantage of this by starting the tenancy in June when they know all students will be away for summer then make the next payment in October therefore making us pay 4 months worth for living there a month or trying to scare you with referencing the contract and threatening court action. It’s nearly April and this is still ongoing…Do everything you can to not do business with student cribs they are scumbags and liars.
