We are in shock and can’t believe the lack of care or responsibility for leaving us without propane and heat for 3 days. We are supposed to be monitored with the smart tank wifi when the tanks are low and it seems this is broken and we unknowingly ran out of propane. I have called so many times and was told management has been emailed but no reply. I finally connected with a regional manager named Anthony he promised to call me back and never did. I have babies in the house and advised them of the safety issue there is with leaving them without heat at -20 degree temperatures but no one cares. I don’t know how to get them to come fill these tanks. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend going with a different supplier.

We’ve been customers for four years. They started off fine, but over time their service has completely collapsed. What we’ve experienced recently is, without question, the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with.

We ordered propane almost four weeks ago. At the time of ordering, we were explicitly told it would be delivered within 10 days. That was a lie. We are still waiting.

It is currently 15 degrees, we are dealing with below freezing temperatures , and we do not have propane. When we call to ask where our delivery is, we’re told there is no schedule, no timeline, and that it will “get there when it gets there.” That is not an answer—especially when you’re responsible for keeping people’s homes heated in winter - and having use of hot water.

There is a complete lack of planning, communication, accountability, and basic human concern. No proactive updates. No ownership. No urgency. Just shrugging and excuses while customers are left in dangerous conditions.

If you’re considering Superior Plus Propane, understand this: when you actually need them, they may not show up—and they won’t care. We are actively looking for another provider and will never recommend this company to anyone.

Would rate zero if possible. Have a standing order for propane for nearly two weeks, have been out of fuel for 3 days sub zero temperatures coming in tomorrow and they say they can try and get us a delivery on Monday, it is now Friday. Completely unacceptable.

The worst customer service imaginable. Our smart meter was reading that our tank was at 15% but actually was at
0% (the smart meter failed). We have been without propane for almost a week in -20 weather. Unable to cook or heat our house. Our delivery was scheduled for the 23 and then got pushed to the 29th and now is “scheduled” for the 31. We have contacted them 12 times. Our phone calls have either gotten disconnected (after 40+ mins of waiting on the line) or the person on the other line has no solution and cannot give us a reason for why our delivery keeps getting postponed. They’ve taken no accountability for the failure of their equipment and do not seem to care that their customer is left without heat because of their incompetence. I would give them 0 stars if I could and will be cancelling our services.

We ordered a tank fill and were told it would take 3 weeks to get filled. The fact it took that long actually occurred. We were told if our tank was below 10 % a leak test would be required. When our tank was filled today, the bill included a fraudulent leak test for $150. This company is a criminal enterprise. Stay away from this company. They will steal from you.

Terrible Experience with the Service

I’m located in a rural area and this service has been disappointing. While on hold, you hear about their so-called magical algorithm that supposedly monitors usage and temperature, but it feels like a gimmick. As of January 24, 2026, I'm running low and have been on the phone with them, trying to get help. They claim I'm on a 'special request' for emergency delivery, but it all seems like nonsense. They have acquired too many local companies and can't keep up with demand. If they had the resources to buy out those companies, they should be able to manage better logistics. I’m left relying on oil heaters just to manage the temperature in my home. Signing up with them feels like constantly driving with a low gas warning light. Additionally, the hold music is infuriating, and the updates about wait times are confusing and frustrating. I’ve noticed the number of people ahead of me decreasing while my wait time increased. They even sent a message warning against harassment, which indicates they are likely dealing with numerous complaints. By spring 2026, I plan to cancel and remove their equipment from my property. I sympathize with their dispatch staff, who probably face a lot of frustration. I recommend looking for alternatives, especially in my area.

Significant decline in service

Years ago, I shared a positive review for this company, previously known for its excellent customer care. However, since the takeover, the quality of service has drastically declined. I've run out of propane, experienced leaks, and despite calling for refills well in advance, my schedule has been changed multiple times without notice. With an upcoming storm, I reached out two days ago for a full tank and was informed it could take up to 21 days. I'm currently waiting for a supervisor to return my call regarding my concerns, but I've been told that calls are not being returned today.

Frustrating Experience with Customer Service

I reached out to the local service for assistance with my gas logs that weren't functioning, as I needed someone to diagnose the issue before an ice storm hit this weekend—it's my only dependable source of heat. After waiting on hold for about 20 minutes, I finally spoke to a representative. I explained my situation, and she said a technician would return my call since she was busy. Unfortunately, I never received that call back. I tried calling again, only to be on hold for another 30 minutes before I decided to hang up. It seems their customer service could use significant improvement in addressing customer needs and providing real assistance. I'm now considering switching to another propane provider that will actually answer the phone without making me endure lengthy recorded messages, only to be told someone will get back to me. It’s quite disappointing.🤬

Delivery Issues and Poor Customer Service

My tanks are nearly empty, and I have no information on when a delivery will occur. The local phone number goes unanswered, and the representatives from the 800 number can only say they've requested an expedited service, but there are no results. The level of customer service is extremely disappointing! The new guarantee about never running out of fuel feels like a false promise. I will have to search for another provider.

Extremely Disappointed with Service

I wish I could rate this lower. The service provider took over from a previous company and has caused us endless frustration. When we signed up, I clearly explained our rural situation, especially our reliance on propane for heating during winter. I repeatedly asked if we could have a delivery in the third week of winter months to avoid running low during potential storms. I was assured this wouldn’t be an issue. My reasons were straightforward: to prevent running out during severe weather, especially since we have a long driveway and are in our 70s, and to stick to a budget as pensioners. I called on December 5th to request a delivery before Christmas, but was told I wasn't a priority. An email on December 16th promised a delivery on the 17th, which never happened. Now, on January 7th, we’re still waiting for propane despite another email saying it would arrive today. Last night, I received an email stating it’s being rescheduled, but they assured us we have plenty of propane when we're actually down to 16%. I’m now looking into other companies, but I'm not finding anyone with better customer service. I'm really concerned about running out.
