My experience in Blackrock, Dublin extends over a long period of time. Overall, I would say thst Supervalu in Blackrock is my last choice for shopping after MandS and Aldi and Dunnes Storesnon Newtownpark ave. From entering the shop, the bakery is nort a pleasant smell. Supervalus own brand products, with the odd exception, are of a low to average quality in terms of taste. The prices are not very competitive. In conclusion, the atore is drsb and unwelcoming.

Extremely disappointing experience with service

I waited over 4 hours for my groceries, only to find that they were closed and my order never arrived. I tried calling for the last 20 minutes before closing, but no one answered. Now, I have no food for my kids or even anything to keep us warm. This is a terrible customer experience, and as a business owner, I find this unacceptable. I expect a proper response; it's shocking and unprofessional. What happens now? Will I get next-day delivery or something worse?

Over 4 hours waiting for delivery...

I waited over 4 hours for my delivery, but they closed without bringing my shopping. I tried calling for the last 20 minutes before they closed, but there was no answer. Frequent overcharging issues

I frequently experience overcharging at my local store; it happens too often to be a genuine mistake. Items are marked down when close to the sell-by date, but the original price is still charged. I now calculate my bill before reaching the register and shop there less often, opting for another store instead.

Unsatisfactory service

The service is very disappointing. Many items were out of stock, and the drivers didn’t deliver during the scheduled time. Customer service is lacking, with inexperienced staff who don’t keep the system updated. There’s no supervisor available to speak to. One star feels too generous.

High prices for poor quality

I found a packaged Halloween brack for €4.99, and my other items were cheap. The total came to €10.27. The bread is often stale, and the apple pie was not fresh. This place feels overpriced. I only go there for small items; I find much better value and service at another store.

Health concerns from purchases

At the local store, I have gotten sick twice from chicken sold in trays. I lost three days of work due to severe illness. It seems the staff are not attentive, though some at the checkout are pleasant. There needs to be more oversight.

Helpful staff and good atmosphere

While passing through Monaghan on my way to Donegal, I visited the store with a friend. A gentleman named Jacob helped me find the bread. The service was excellent, and despite the store being a bit small, the atmosphere was pleasant.

Beware of product changes

I purchased sparkling wine from the local store, which I had enjoyed before. However, the alcohol content decreased from 12.5% to 11%, and there was no clear indication of this change. The label is nearly impossible to notice. I expected the same quality, not a lesser product. Just a heads-up to future buyers.
