Would give less than one star if possible. Using the program for schooling purposes and ended up spending over $3000 for incomplete data. Instructions were unclear and assistance is not readily available or provided. I requested support before using the tool and received none. I requested a meeting to ask my questions before using the tool and it was canceled. I used the tool because it was already written into a dissertation plan - which has taken me 2 years to complete. Now needing support, because responses were not replaced and a total number of participants is not available, I am not getting answers or able to reach someone. They want me to pay for a phone call but won't return an e-mail request (the only way the offer free contact). Basically, if you're not a Survey Monkey pro don't spend the money. If you aren't a large corporation they don't care about your project or what you have to spend. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Use competitors.
Incredible Support at a Critical Time! I mistakenly altered the URL for a client's survey in the field, which had already been shared with thousands. It was a Saturday, and I reached out to the support team. Amazingly, they resolved the issue. This wasn't an enterprise account, and the mistake was entirely mine. I'm truly impressed by their quick response to what was my biggest work blunder. I will definitely remain a loyal customer!
All sort of spam coming from survey monkey. People are using their services to spam large number of end users. I have told them multiple times to not send me any emails yet they keep on sending them. Spammers disguise their spam as a surbey and survey monkey is happy as long as the spammer are paying them.Hope surveymonkey goes bankrupt for not making it possible for end user to block spam. If i am not your customer i should not be contacted by your spammy company useless surveys anyways.
Number of devices should have no limit on transferring. I work in a high school and any time our system is wiped clean, the next time I log in I have to identify the same computer all because SurveyMonkey does not recognize the same computer. Once I reach my quota, there will be a problem trying to contact someone to resolve the issue.
Very easy to construct and format a survey. Result reporting is excellent. However, I found sending a survey by email out of SurveyMonkey to be far less than intuitive. Plus every test I sent out of SurveyMonkey ended up in my spam folder. As a result I ended up sending email out of Mailchimp with a link to my survey.
I really think SM should offer Captcha or equivalent without requiring purchase of Wufoo. It's a big limiting factor. Also, no matter what I do, my account doesn't remember my computer for more than a few weeks from what I can tell so I have to keep re-registering teh same computer every time I go back to start a new survey
I love SurveyMonkey and have been a customer pretty much since day one! However, I am not digging the recent changes. It took me 15 minutes to find the page break! Sometimes fixing something that isn’t broken is not a good thing! Not sure if you pilot test changes with actual users (and I am a pretty savvy user), but I seriously suggest it!
