I hired the upper space at CAS Hall in Parsons Green, London for my 60th birthday party on Saturday 7 February 2026. Although we were told the music level has to be no higher than 80 decibels which we adhered to the staff were rude and turned the music down to 10 decibels according to my cousin who was playing the music which he does as a hobby. This ruined my whole birthday experience. A few people including myself asked the staff why was this done and they said a neighbour who has 2 children was complaining about the noise level. We were told by staff there is no soundproofing because the building is grade 1 or 2 listed. Even when speaking on the mic, my guests couldn’t hear me well. So how the hell was it allowed to be hired for a party? This venue was hired for a party hence, people and music. The venue booking stated party, the venue is not suited for party of any type. We booked and paid for the venue from 17:00-00:00. My daughter emailed them to ask if we can come at 16:30 instead, she got an email stating there was a booking before ours that finished at 17:30. She challenged this as it was an error on their part and our booking was confirmed as stated on invoice and email. I would have given ZERO stars if it was an option based on the music level. What a shambles!!! Otherwise the place was nice.

The location and booking is excellent and the venue exactly fitted our requirement.The entry process was fiddly and could have been better described, plus the map you are linked to on the site does not really give you direction instructions or access to link to any.
The platform was really easy to use, all the info was there. The only thing that didn't work well is that I wasn't able to book 2 separate rooms at the same time. I requested to book one room and then the platform wouldn't let me book a second one at the same location.
