IF YOU SEE THIS COMPANY AS A LANDLORD ON THE CONTRACT FOR YOUR APARTMENT TO BE RENTED: RUN!This company is exploiting the poor rwntal deposit laws in Denmark to its fullest. No matter how neat you are, you can say goodbye to your deposit. “Repairs” are charged with VAT (which is ridiculous as Taurus gets back that VAT), they also decide to take any additional money for whatever reason beyond repairs, they will just deduct it and can keep it as a safeguard. While it’s your money! My lawyer adviced to take my case to the police now for theft, which I will. It’s annoying to spend so much time on crooks like this when I have a business to run
We have been living there for 2.5 years since July 2020. They made couple of "improvement" to the apartment during the period and increase our rent. Which include: making a hole in the wall and called it ventilation system; replacing the windows which the new one doesn't even work, complained but they just said we don't know how to use it (but it is not working because it was not installed correctly).Our name was not on the mailbox, door phone and door until 2 years after. Not to mention neighbor was super noisy.And after all we decided to move out, they just charge you all your deposit + 3 months rent + extra, no matter what state you leave the apartment. They are also charging us for things that was broken before we move it, they didn't fix it, but because in a follow up report that the item was missing, then they assume it was fixed. How the hell we know that we need to check every single words in every single documents they sent us after we moved in. Just feels like we got scammed.
During final settlement, Taurus uses complete deposit amount and 3 months additional rent in apartment cleaning and paint when you vacate. It is quite astonishing that you have to pay VAT on complete service and even materials used for paint and cleaning which is purchased by the vendor after paying VAT. Moreover expats have no knowledge about local laws and they succumbed to Taurus outrageous policies during final settlement, someone has to take up a legal battle against them and made them pay for pain and financial burden subdued on the tenant.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM TUARUS.DKTHERE ARE REALLY UNRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE IN THE HISTORY OR RENTAL AGENCY.I stayed here for 3 years 6 months, ang finally agreed to move out with re-letting clause, this says need to vacate within 90 days from the notice period. I have shown the apartment for 8-10 people being in the apartment. One sudden day they said I must vacate within 3 days of the time, else apartment is going to be locked. Rude behavior from care taker and administration staff. Some how at last minute I was able to manage to find some apartment (which I was not ready to move out immediately). They sent me cleaning charges of 74,0000/- and 16,0000/- a wash basin replacement. This is too much of any expenses at any level & beyond my imagination. They said - done 3 layers of paint, due to nicotine.. not sure what detectors they use. We complained many times about our neighbors are chain smokers, contineous smoke enters into our apartment and many late parties with 10+ people, maximum noise until morning 4 AM. This introduced forced smoke and traces of nicotine inside our house. We complained many times to Taurus.dk however admin didnot take a any action on this. There was small (5 cms) scratch on the wash basin, which usually happens for an apartment first time fitted (this wash basin) in 2009. The wash basin was working before I was handed over the key and 6 months after i left the apartment. However, they claimed its not usable and need replacement. The entire sink slab they refurbished on my cost. They charged 16000 extra for this. Overall they are not professional they heavily charge all the money on tenants. When you call telephone to their office, it goes to the board and the responsible persons never answers the call. The very worst and rude behavior of care takers. Care takers not responsive at all.. you must contact them minimum 4- 5 times for any house keeping maintenance. They said move out report is going to be emailed / its soft copy, till now they have not given me. And they take the e-signature during vacating the house. Be careful, I heard they charge minimum 45-55.000/- as a charges after vacating the apartment. Also, there are many pending open cases with Taurus at Huslejenævn. I request everyone don't ever take apartment from Taurus in Denmark.Labor cost is much higher than normal prise, double Tax( tax for material + labor ) X Tax = ??? They are literally screwing all the tenants at their best. I hope this helps to others and stay away from this rental agency., until they improve and friendly towards tenants. Thanks
Emails are simply ignored, very bad companyI won't even go into the issues, as there are simply too many to start listing. Completely fraudulent company.Also considering all the fake 5 star reviews from people with only 1 review... yeah right.

Big scam at Ryparken Kollegium. Terrible service from them - weeks to reply. The heating was broken for 2 months and then they asked extra payment for it after 7 months from moving out. No activities and social life. Dirty and useless common areas. Moving out was a disaster. My place was perfect, so they charged 800kr to decalc once again the shower head
Really bad service! Really confused and unprofessional attitude. Forgot to send invoice for my first rent, the reason we’re that she was on holiday. Have never had worst attacking and aggressive attitude in service, especially when being making a mistake!😳
An unreliable company. They will take your deposit, no matter what state you left the apartment in. Also, very difficult to get any repairs done, especially the elevators even though you are moving! The adrministration promises fixes, then when they do not get fixed and you complain, they put it off with empty promises of compensation, to which I am waiting to this day!We moved in with two of my friends in August 2020 to one of their Strandlodsvej apartments and lived there for a year and a half. During that time, there were super noisi neightbors, which they did nothing about. Many times the trash was overfilled and glass wasn't taken any just piled up there for days. When we terminated the contract, even though we left the apartment spotless, the whole deposit was taken and not only that, but we had to pay for additional cost of painting at a ridiculos price.On the last two weeks leading up to our moving out, the elevator broke, which they did not fix. After calling the administration directly, he promised compensation, yet never gott back to me with that one. It's not only the inconvenience that we needed to move 'manually' from the 5th floor, but actively refusing to help us move or compensate us was just the cherry on top. Do not rent from then unless unavoidable.
I had my thesis with a Danish company cancelled very last minute, after signing a rental contract with Taurus. They were very understanding and I was able to terminate the contract, and they made an effort to find a new tenant, for which I was very thankful. The only criticism I have is that I had to ask about updates on the case, instead of being informed about new developments from their side.
