Please inform yourself about this company here and on google. They are described as unresponsive, rude and out right scamming people. I cant confirm the unresponsiveness, however have a nice scam to share. We moved out of graspurvevej in OCT21, after 4 years of renting. We dont have kids/pets and left everything in very good condition. Admittedly to turn it into new some walls needed to be repainted. I heard some of the stories from the neighbours that taurus will scam you for your deposit so I didnot really expect anything to be returned from the 35.933,17DKK that I paid. However now, after 3 months, they presented me the bill. 51.850,75 DKK. :D Of course it is not only painting, all floors were sanded, the door in the bathroom was renewed, 5 holes in walls for lamps were closed.I believe what they are doing here is they renew, renovate and "invest" into their apartments with your money. I have read somewhere that this is since 2015 forbidden and currently in touch with a lawyer.It really is a shame that there are such low moral and ethic standards in this company.For my part I tried to be always of assistance, which they very happily used when it came to finding new tenants. I showed the aparment to 15 people, so 15 meetings while we were still living and paying there... Again, I dont think they have the right to ask this from you, I should have declined this.Our neighbours from downstairs actually painted the whole apartment themselves and got slapped with a 40kDKKK bill, its insane...In case I wasnt clear, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
My experience with Taurus has been great!I have no complaints whatsoever towards their service.From the moment I signed my lease, they have been nothing but responsive and supportive. Everyone in the staff have taken their time to answer accurately and in a timely manner to my requests and general questions.Both the administrative and technical personnel are extremely professional, even in difficult situations.I am very happy with Lars, Tonny, Celia and the entreprenors they manage.
Do not every rent an apartment from Taurus! They are scam artists who charge you overpriced rent, and use your deposit to make improvements on your apartment after you move out, resulting in no deposit payback. Even if you leave your apartment in great condition you will get nothing back. They do not maintain common spaces on the property (litter everywhere outside which never gets cleaned up, the basement with storage rooms is disaster). Whatever you do, DO NOT RENT FROM TAURUS!
Stay away from Taurus, their company is a big scam when it comes to getting back your deposit. We lived in one of their apartments for more than two years. Everything seems really great when you talk with them and while living there. While we lived in one of their flats they raised the price of the rent multiple times without notice. And when we moved out we didn't get much of the deposit back.Our deposit was 26500DKK and we are only getting back ~3000DKK. The invoice we got for what the deposit was spent on, was only from the painting company. I refuse to belive that it costs 23000DKK to paint a 70SQM flat.If you want to rent a flat where you are ensured to get your deposit back, IT IS NOT TAURUS.
If you are considering renting from Taurus we strongly recommend you not to do so. We moved into a completly new apartment, January 2021. The apartment is full of mistakes and half finished work. The paint is a bad quality, the shower faucet is leaking. Water stains on the ceiling in 3 rooms, several holes in the wooden floor, window shelves are full of mistakes and looks like a half finished job, the walls are very badly painted. When it rains our postbox gets full of water and I can go on and on and on with hundreds and hundres of mistakes and faults in this apartment. When we took over the apartment it was not proper cleaned, it was full of building material inside and around the apartment. 2 weeks ago we had an inspection of the apartment with Taurus and the responsible building company. 4 people showed up at our apartment. It was very stressful and - way to many people. It seems like Taurus is not aware that there is a pandemic going on, two people would have been sufficent. One member from the inspection group almost broke a very special and priceless skulpture in our apartment. Apparently tomorrow they will come and repair some of the mistakes they should have repaired before we moved in. They have asked us to give the builders permission to get into our apartment to fix the mistakes. Taurus can not give us a specific time but have told us that they will come either Wednesday or Thursday between 9:00 and 16:00. Fantastic!! I now have to take two days off from work ( I am not working from home during the pandemic). They are not answering our questions by mail. They are not answering the phone. We have almost been living here for 2 months and they have not fixed the faucet in the shower eventhough it was adressed to them when we moved in to the apartment and water is running steady from the faucet . Our postbox has not been fixed. Taurus was suppose to assign us to an electric company - that has not happende yet. Their customer service is very poor and the company is not taking responsibility and we are strongly considering moving. We feel so cheated. So for your own sake DO NOT rent with Taurus.
Currently a tenant of one of their apartments. Taurus is a company that seems only pursuing ripping off tenants. With only one exception: Ejendomsfunktionærer are nice and helpful people (5 Stars for them). For the rest they are mostly unresponsive and shady, they will reply to emails only if rent/money are involved. The apartment miss internet cables (they initially claimed that everything was in place), and they are mostly ignoring the problem, not taking any action (or at leat not communicating with us) and leaving tenants without opportunity of an internet connection in the middle of a pandemic. Things are falling off after 4 months of tenancy (e.g.: entrance door handle), but once again they're unresponsive to this. Copenhagen's housing hunt is not easy, but trust me if you come across Taurus consider it 10-20-100 times before signing a contract with them. I've experienced different landlords during the last 4 years, and rank them without any doubts at the last place.
After several months of constant emailing with the Taurus staff, we still have not gotten our deposit back nor have we heard back from them in weeks. When we moved into our apartment, the apartment was a construction site with a hole in one of the walls and beams on the ceiling that were only covered in plasterboard and without any paint o them. Also the whole apartment was covered in dirt since the construction team had not performed all the work at the time we moved in. And they didn´t finish it within the next following 3 months either which led to us withholding rent for that period of time. However, since we lived in the apartment we did substantial amounts of work and cleaning ourselves to make the apartment inhabitable. I wish I could share some of the photos with this review.Although we have quite a lot of evidence as to what has happened and took photos and everything, Taurus is completely withholding our deposits although the apartment was in a much better condition when we moved out then when we moved in. Also they are completely uncooperative which we will most probably now need to solve by legal means.I can only advise you to never do any form of business with Taurus! Not a trustworthy landlord at all! Stay away!
Rip off. Be careful before you accept any thier apartment offers.I rented their apartment for 3 yrs.They took me almost all my deposit.I had some evidence that the floor of my apartment had scratches and marks on the movingdates. I showed the inspector the pictures and the date when the pictures was taken. He told me i will only have to pay for the paint and i ended up paying the floor as well. It's disgusting. They took over 20.000 kr of my deposit for this. On top of that. I had to pay over 700kr for the person who inspected my apartment. They have sent me an email when i will have to go to the fraflytningssyn. It was written there it was at 2 it was automatically saved in my Google calendar. On the day early in the morning they called me and reprimanded me that i didn't show up at 8am! I explained that the email they sent to says I have to be there at 2. They are total rip off. Don't trust them
