I recently purchased the Men with a Pot Cleaver and Sheath (sold separately) and absolutely love it. For starters, despite being in the middle of a pandemic, it was shipped promptly and arrived here in Canada sooner than expected. That said, it did take a little while but the company sent me notifications every step of the way so I was never left wondering and the transfer from USPS to Canada Post was seamless. It arrived packaged well and was not damaged in any way.The knife itself is literally the sharpest knife I own. Do not underestimate these products. They are built very, very well and designed to cut in every way. If you are a fan of the Men with a Pot videos, you can see my model in action with a skilled hand guiding it. I am completely satisfied with my knife. It is worth every penny and I'm also glad I got the sheath too. It's also well made and fits the cleaver like a glove. Shipped to my house in a timely manner. Very impressed with the craftsmanship, look and feel. Very sharp, make sure to care for them as per instructions. Hand wash, oil, keep dry. I haven't used my set yet because they are so awesome. Waiting for the special occasion. Thank you for making and having available this unique knife set that has an outdoor look and a formal look. Definitely will turn some heads.
Absolutely do not spend the money, ordered the chef knife and nakiri blue handle combo. Both blades are inconsistently shaped, they have a spot on both blade where it dips down a couple millimeters near the back end and it cause improper rocking of the blade. The shape of the chef knife is very odd and if you set it down on the back end of the blade the tip is way above the cutting surface. The rock of the blade when cutting is completely wonky. Reached out about imperfections and they said my pictures weren’t good enough lol. Haven’t used the chef knife at all, as i find it completely off balance. The blade itself is very thin and bends way more than a chef knife should. Not sure how it was made or what it’s made of, but it’s definitely not Damascus layered steel. 1/5 just because the nakiri is functional if you ignore the imperfection.
This organization is hiding behind an email address. I ordered knives for Christmas approx 12/15/2020. No response and no knives were delivered. I tried to contact them numerous times, and finally received a refund on 03/22/2021. During the 3 months of constant communication to them; sending back the knives which I finally received on 2/8/2021; returning the knives; reporting them to my bank; advising them I would report them to the BBB (which they are not a part of); sending them proof they received the knives on 2/17/2021; numerous emails for information about my order--no response or weeks later a response to either call my bank or send documentation (at least 3 times) that they received the knives. . On 12/29/2020/ i received a message that they were closed from 12/23-1/3. Had I known they were closed over the holidays, I would not have ordered the knives.Don't do it. Don't purchase their knives. it will take months for you to receive the knives..There is no way to reach them. They are not listed in anywhere. They are not part of the BBB. They do not have a telephone number and the address they have is not listed to them.
I ordered the “men with a pot” knife, hand made to order so had to wait a while to finally receive it in the uk, but omg, what a quality product, I’m over the moon with it, mega thumbs up from me, many thanks cooking guild for keeping me updated about the progress of my order, so happy with my purchase 👍
