We traveled to Andalucia, What made our experience great was our superb guide, Alex. He went above and beyond at every stage of the tour, My husband lost his phone and he rang the number, located the phone and brought him back to collect it. He gave us an amazing potted history of Spain and had such a wonderful sense of humour.On our return to the airport he ensured that we were queuing at the correct gate, organised assistance for those who needed it and sorted out our Aer Club booking for us,I can't praise him enough; he was knowledgeable, fun and extremely helpful. Thank you Alex.
Just home from a fabulous all inclusive trip to Montenegro. Stayed in Iberostar Bellevue Hotel, beautifully located on long beach, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, three restaurants, great food, swimming pools/sun loungers in lovely grounds and also on the beach if you prefer. Playground/pool for children, entertainment every night from 9.00p.m.-11.00p.m. Great trips to stunning locations and a wonderful courier to answer all your queries. Extremely well organised by the Travel Department - all I had to do was turn up at the airport ! Already planning next holiday, with Travel Department of course.
The travel department are an excellent company to travel with. I recently did the Tuscany including Florence and Pisa trip and had a really great time. Everything was excellent, from our tour guide meeting us at airport, our coaches, the hotel, the food, the excursions, to seeing us off when we were going home. We were really well looked after. I have travelled several times with the travel department and I would highly recommend to anyone to travel with them.
This was my third trip with Travel Department and it was fantastic. This trip to Norway was my husband’s dream come true. Great hotels, well informed guides, all the transfers provided, smooth sailing all the way. All we had to do was turn up on time. It’s a wonderful, stress-free way to travel, and, we always meet lovely, like-minded people in our group.
This was a fabulous trip, absolutely nothing to complain about.I was worried about the journey from and to the airport but this was not too long at all.The hotel was fantastic and the food was varied with a great selection every night .Entertainment every evening was so much fun.Free drinks was a big plus. Local wine was lovely and gin and vodka were the brands that are available in Ireland.Smirnoff, Absolute , Beefeater etc…
Took all the hassle out of arranging a holiday. Just turned up at the airport and we’re escorted right through the Rome and Assisi holiday by Carlotta … one of the most attentive guides in Italy … transfers and trips all timely and as stated. 4 star hotel was fab. Added advantage of being with a lovely group of travellers.
Music Capitals of the South was a truly magnificent trip in every way. It was very busy and very well organised. We got to see and do a lot. The tour guide David French went above and beyond every day ensuring everything went smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was very knowledgeable on everywhere we went. Kyle was an excellent driver and was so nice and helpful at all times. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.
