Review Time
Me and my family have used Triphobo's travel/tour services a few times now (latest has been transportation in Dublin), and we haven't had any major problems yet. Even with questions, they respond in a timely manner. We will use them again!!
I booked a walking food/history tour in Minnesota. Unfortunately I had a few problems paying because TripHobo came up as a potential fraudulent charge on my credit card. I had to call my cc to verify, and then needed to rebook. My tour ended up being cancelled due to low attendance. Luckily I was able to work everything out with the actual tour company. TCFoodTours, they were fantastic, offered me another tour, and a discount for the inconvenience and handled everything internally because it was easier than trying to go through TripHobo. I may or may not use TripHobo again. The events they offer look great, but It concerns me that the site was flagged, and I found dealing with the actual tour companies to be easier. So, 3 stars.
We were very pleased with our tour! Our guide was exceptional and willing to go longer than expected for those of us that could stay. She was so educational and knew all aspects of Delos. I highly recommend this tour as it makes you want to go back and research history again.
We booked the Douro Valley Wine Tour which included wine tastings, a river cruise, and lunch at one of the vineyards. The scenery was absolutely amazing, our guide Carla was so much fun, and the port of course was outstanding. Trip Hobo had absolutely the best price for this tour and what we received for the price was fantastic. Any tour I book I always check to see if it’s available with them because I generally always wind up saving money!!! Thanks!
Our tour (Full Day Private Tour- combine Sintra and Lisbon) was incredible. I couldn't believe he picked us up at our hotel in a suit and in a mercedes. We got to Sintra just before the crowds took over . Our guide was so knowledgeable of the area. After the castle we went into the village and were directed to the oldest cafe - with delicious goodies! Then to the coast where we walked around Cascais and then to the beach for one of the best seafood meals we have ever had. Then into Lisbon for a few sites, especially the Tower of Belem which we had not seen. Just a wonderful day - not cheap - bur worth every penny.
