AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS Their website failed to mention that the item would be shipped from overseas. I could accept a longer delivery time, but the item never arrived. Despite emailing them numerous times, I received minimal responses. When they finally got back to me, they stated that my item would not be arriving and suggested I choose a different one! Unbelievable. There was no apology or offer for a refund. I requested a full refund and expressed my frustration with their handling of the situation. They responded by saying they do not issue refunds, which goes against consumer rights legislation. I strongly encourage anyone who feels scammed to dispute the charge with their credit card provider and report the website as fraudulent.

My child loves this football plush and takes it everywhere.

My child is really into this football plush and carries it around all the time. It's soft enough for cuddling yet feels sturdy, which can be hard to come by in toys. I appreciated receiving tracking updates without needing to follow up. It arrived right on schedule and quickly became his favorite.

These astronaut booties are simply charming and my nephew was thrilled the moment he laid eyes on them. They’re perfect for indoor play, and he wears them all the time. I do wish the material was a little thicker for chillier days, but overall, they’re a big hit in our home. The delivery was seamless and punctual.

The luna knit sweater appeared lovely online, but it truly surpasses expectations in person. The color is perfect, and it provides warmth without being heavy, which is ideal for children. The luna knit sweater looked sweet…

The luna knit sweater looked sweet online but it somehow looks even nicer in person. The colour is spot on and it’s warm without being bulky which I love for kids. It came in simple eco friendly packaging and felt like a thoughtful purchase from start to finish. My daughter asks to wear it constantly.

These astronaut booties are adorable and my nephew was excited as soon as he saw them. They’re great for playing around indoors and he wears them nonstop. I do wish the material was a bit thicker for colder days but overall they’re still a hit in our house. Delivery was smooth and on time.

Returns Policy a trip up the garden path

Their returns policy, declared on their website, is a trip up the garden path. It has been a nightmare dealing with Troeteluin from the beginning. First of all you think the name sounds like it’s a European firm probably Scandinavian. But the firm is based in China and so any returns have to be sent at your own expense to China despite it saying on their website that they have a 30 day returns policy (which when clicked on gives no details). The goods which were ordered as Christmas presents took 18 days to arrive and so were useless as Christmas presents. The packaging was totally inadequate as the parcel arrived torn with the plastic protective casing. It order to get my refund implicit in the 30 day return policy I have to post the items to China at my own expense and then apparently accept their word if they say that they are damaged and therefore lose both my money and the goods. What a joke. Since I put the above review on Trust Pilot, Troeteltuin replied to say that they would like to "make it right" for me and I should contact them. This is a completely disingenuous reply as I was already in contact with them, and they have not offered any different solution since reading my review.In a further exchange of emails, I asked Troeteltuin how I should package the microscopes when I return them to the address in China - at my expense. They told me that I should return them in a sturdy box, "to ensure safe transit". This tells you a lot about this firm's approach to customer care as they sent the microscopes to me in the flimsiest of packaging (I have photographic evidence of this). So when they were sending the goods to their customer they were obviously not interested in ensuring "safe transit". I can only assume this is because it would increase their costs. Buying from Troeteluin has been a salutary lesson to never again order online from a firm outside of the UK. Also nowhere on their website was it apparent that the good were being shipped from China.

Opening the box made me smile before I…

Opening the box made me smile before I even saw the shoes. The bloomsteps arrived wrapped so nicely with pink tissue and a little thank you card which felt really thoughtful. The shoes themselves are even prettier than the photos. My niece keeps spinning around just to look at the flowers on them.

I wish I'd read the review of this…

I wish I'd read the review of this company before buying from them. They claim to be Dutch but tracking my delivery I find it's Chinese and there is no indication that my purchase will ever arrive. Others have suggested it's a scam and it seems they are rught

Avoid this company

Avoid, goods come directly from China so delivery takes 2 weeks and if you need to return an item, you have to pay the (non refundable) return delivery charge (to China)… so it may cost as much, or more, to return the item than any refund you may ( or may not) receive!
