Review Time
Overall generally a good meal. We were a large booking and it felt like they werent used to dealing with large group bookings. We pre-ordered but the way it was managed felt a little disorganised. Personally, two of us were sharing a jerk platter and ours was missed when they brought out the mains. When it finally arrived the ribs were burnt so were inedible. No apology or offer of any money back / refunds despite the value of the group booking.
My friends and I visited Turtle Bay Swansea for the Bottomless Brunch. The cocktails and service by Joe did not disappoint. Joe was friendly and very helpful. The only disappointment (and it’s only a minor thing) was that the burger, which was part of the package, was not accompanied by any sides. You had to pay extra
Here having a brunch in Turtle Bay Southampton. We haven't seen our waitress for 40 minutes.... it's quiet. She asked if we wanted sauce with our food. We grabbed it from the kitchen area as she didn't come back.... no drinks for 40 minutes plus and there are only 5 tables. Please do not waste your money..... literally the worst brunch ever!
We visited Camden Town bank holiday. It wasn’t overly busy. We have been to numerous Turtle Bays all over the country and had an excellent time so don’t be put off by my review. Just be mindful of visiting Camden Town. We waited 10 minutes between each drink. We tried putting our order in early so they would have them ready. That didn’t work. We tried all ordering the same cocktail.That didn’t work. If this was my first visit, I wouldn’t be returning. Luckily it isn’t. So I would continue visiting others but won’t be using the Camden restaurant again.
The portion sizes are for your kiddies portion at adult prices! It was my first time at trying this Caribbean joint in Peterborough and I was so disappointed. If I could attach pictures here, I would have. The clientele must be mostly black people, so for the prices and the size of portions, it really will not be worth your while if you're hungry, you would need about double, or triple to satisfy even the smallest of appetites. A real rip off! Spent about £70+ and still needed dinner at home. On top of that I ordered pork belly and it wasn't in the bag. Really bad experience.
