Twilio video - mixed review

Twilio video is easy to integrate, but doesn't work well, esp the echo cancellation. The tech support is not of much use for video. The sales team does not respond at all for an enquiry. So, the product vision is good, but execution sucks.

Great service and easy implementation.

It was very easy to implement with our application. Only complaint is the send speed of the SMS if you don't have a shortcode. A send rate of 1 per second is a bit slow when you have thousands of messages to send. But other than that the service is great.

Great but hopefully cheaper

Twilio delivers excellent documents and services. However, compare to other local Hong Kong competitors, the price is significantly higher in terms of sending SMSs out.Hopefully Twilio will drive the price down in the future, so that users feel the value of the service is higher.

Throughput of SMS is not sufficient for anything other than casual messaging.

1 SMS per second and the only way to increase this is to lease additional lines! Twilio is cheap hotchpotch of retail cellular accounts wired together then marketed as an enterprise service.
