I ordered a pair of black glasses previously and one of the handles broke. Not sure if it was the glasses or me. However I like the glasses so much and have received several compliments, I wanted another pair. So when I ordered them, I inadvertently put the wrong zip code in and my glasses could not be delivered. Ublins was going to charge me for the shipping because of my error. When I could not get the instructions to work, they decided to waive the shipping fee. Thanks Ublins, I will order again and I review my order and address prior to sending it
I never received the glasses I ordered on 9/3/25 and it took over a MONTH to receive my refund. I will never deal with this company (or Klarna) again and based on the experience I had, I wouldn't advise anyone else to either. The only upside is because I did use Klarna, I was only waiting for (and possibly losing) $37 as opposed to $150.
I ordered two pairs of glasses from Ublins: Order #400051503 (frames only) and Order #100013236 (complete eyeglasses with prescription lenses). Both orders were unusable due to defects caused by the company's errors.The frames from my first order were incompatible with standard prescription lens fitting, making them impossible to use as intended. The prescription lenses in my second order were manufactured incorrectly, rendering the glasses completely unwearable. I returned the merchandise and provided a tracking number per their request. The tracking number proves the merchandise was returned. It was hand delivered to their staff.I initiated a return and refund request. Despite numerous follow-up emails requesting confirmation of receipt, refund amount, and processing timeline, I have received inadequate responses and long delays.When I did hear back, I was told the company would "check with the warehouse again," but then received no further communication. I provided a 48-hour deadline for confirmation, which was ignored.I am now more than ten days into this process with no resolution. I have requested full refunds for both orders, including shipping costs, as both products were defective due to the company's errors. The lack of timely communication and failure to process a straightforward refund for their own mistakes has been extremely disappointing.I have been forced to pursue resolution through my credit card company. I would caution others to carefully consider whether they want to risk similar issues with defective products and poor customer service follow-through. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.
I've used a handful of online only retailers for glasses and these are EASILY some of the BEST glasses I have ever owned! They came in lovely packaging. I had forgotten to make sure both pair I got with premium progressive lenses, so I reached out to ask to upgrade it before 24 hours had passed to see if it could be corrected in time (with any upcharge for the difference, of course). They responded quickly and even covered the difference since I was a new customer! I did have to go into my local eye place to try and get the arms adjusted and the wonderful employee was hesitant at first. Because mine have metal snakes on the sides, she didn't want to try without really looking at them. She pleasantly told me the metal parts were actually screwed in and not just tacked on, so if you're worried about in depth quality, a professional told me she approved! 😂
