This service employs questionable methods. IP addresses and entire networks are frequently listed in their secondary services without accountability from the actual sender. They also provide a paid 'express delisting' option, resembling a pay-to-remove scheme rather than a legitimate anti-spam solution. Many administrators view this tactic as unethical and unreliable, and numerous mail providers do not regard these listings with seriousness. I advise against paying for their services or depending on their lists.
This service employs highly questionable practices. IP addresses and entire networks are often listed without clear accountability from the actual sender. They also offer a paid 'express delisting' option, resembling a pay-to-remove model rather than a fair anti-spam system. Many administrators find this approach unethical and unreliable, with most mail providers not taking these listings seriously. I do not recommend paying for their services or relying on their lists.
The organization demonstrates arrogance and unpleasantness, and their practices are concerning. They target large ISPs, negatively impacting smaller users. They lack the courtesy to notify domains when blocking their ISP email provider, leaving users to discover this by chance. Such actions should be regulated, as they are as harmful as spam. We all despise spam, and this service, which charges for whitelisting, is equally problematic. They even request donations, which raises doubts about their integrity.
This blacklist operates in a deceptive manner. It lists ranges of IP addresses without providing clear reasons for the listings. As expected, you can only be delisted if you pay them. Contacting them is nearly impossible, as their form requires a code that is not provided, and they threaten longer listings if you seek to contest an incorrect listing. This is extortion and illegal. Even if you pay (which I advise against), your IP could be listed again at any time. I wish service providers would ignore this dubious blacklist.
This spamlist serves as a tool for holding providers accountable for maintaining clean web and mail hosting. Unfortunately, some providers overlook basic email standards. The system helps identify those who fail to adhere to proper practices, contributing to safer email networks. For those concerned about payment: initially, there is a temporary block, and if you want early removal, a small fee is required.
We were placed on their blacklist not due to sending unsolicited emails, but because entire IP ranges were blacklisted, and ours fell within that range. Legitimate emails to our users are being blocked. Having to pay for removal when placed unjustly is akin to blackmail. I urge anti-spam systems to stop using these blacklists due to their unethical practices.
This service is a complete scam. They will list your IP not for sending spam, but simply because entire ranges are blocked. You might end up on their blacklist just for existing, and they will charge you for removal. If you filter your email through them, I strongly suggest using a legitimate RBL instead.
