Sarah Panting got me started with Clover. She was fantastic. Always at the end of the phone. Great customer service.
The low fees and functionality of the device has been great. The only issue we have had is with the kitchen printer as we struggled to get the flex to send just the meals. Once I worked it out with the concierge it was great. Could do with simplifying and would be great if it had an option to fire once payment has been made. It currently fires just before payment is made. This can get confusing.
All in all a great start for a till system for our tiny but productive pop up.
I called today to initially cancel.I had received a letter regarding upcoming price increases and whilst I absolutely understand the need for them, It took my bill a bit further than I was happy with, Spoke to Claire Thornley, who asked several questions, and determined if I still needed certain apps or different ones would suit me better, she went away and advised that she would come back to me shortly when she had looked at what they could do to retain my business. She arranged for certain apps to be changed, paper bills to cease (I use my merchant dashboard for all of that) and certain adjustments to the fee structure, meaning quite a significant reduction in my costs, and a very small transaction fee increase, with new fresher more modern apps that suit my business. I cannot praise and thank Claire highly enough for going above and beyond, as I am only a small business, in the grand scheme of things, but I feel as valued as one of their multi million pound clients would be, and am very happy to continue with them, I don't have the hassle of changing providers, and I know from the service they have always provided I am in good hands.
Jonathan Pereira had the task of taking up our request when a previous colleague left the clover company. Without a huge amount of information Jonathan picked up my request and within days, got the job done. I really wasn't expecting it to be sorted so quickly and with slick and efficient communications. We have received our terminals and will be initiating setup shortly. Thank you to Jonathan.
We have been with Clover for our Card Charges for quite some time now but rented our card machine from a third party. On speaking with Alfie we decided to go with Clover for both Card Machine and charges.He explained everything to us and gave us a far better deal than we had before. I would highly recommend this company.
