First, my Motorola phones keep dropping service, going to Emergency Calls only. This forces me to restart my phone.
Second, I was under a promotion plan and, without warning, dropped to plan.
Originally, I asked the rep to sign under my name to get the military discount. She put it under my wife's name, nullifying the discount.
I doubt T-moblie will make it better since acquiring USCellular.

After having US Cellular for almost 30 years and no issues ever we are now having issues daily. The phones are dropping calls and having very long dead spots through a conversation. The service has become complete garbage. Will probably be looking for a different cell phone provider very soon.

I wish I could give negative stars on…

I wish I could give negative stars on this company my brother goes through their prepaid service and he had cancelled the day of but because they already took the money and the person he talked too said wait seven to ten business days we did and he called them back to see why it wasn't returned and they wouldn't refund it back which we needed. They are thieves who steal poor folks money for they own pockets.

Do NOT do a contract buyout with them

I did a contract buyout and reimbursement with us cellular. I was told that if I paid off my final bill, I would get a gift card that I could use to reimburse me for the amount I paid. I went through the entire process and I just received the gift card today. However, it was a virtual card that I can’t use for anything besides online shopping. I am not able to use it to pay off the card that I used in the first place to pay the final bill. I was told basically that I was sh**t out of luck by the escalation team. He kept telling me ‘I would use it towards Amazon’. No, I was told and under the pretense that I would be able to be reimbursed. It was a lie. A scam. I can’t even connect it to a digital wallet like Apple. And after activating the card, it states I can’t use it for cash or atm transfers. So I am out of luck of 650$. And for a 25 year old in this economy, I feel like I was scammed.

Much of the cellular industry is a scam…

Much of the cellular industry is a scam upon the consumer. US Cellular from the very beginning tried to continuously up sell their product charge for everything and then did not even live up to their agreement from the start gate. It took numerous phone calls & a lot of wasted time to get very minimal satisfaction. Have been a customer for two years & had several problems with billing issues & connectivity. Unfortunately I live in a rural area & there is not really a choice of providers. I am not one to dislike businesses, but this company I have a real dislike for everything about what they do. Now they are part of T-Mobile and I can see it getting even worse.

T-Mobile sucks

I live in the woods, after trying several cell companies US cellular worked great for 20 years even inside my metal shop building with the doors closed.. Now T-Mobile bought them out I have no service at my house or shop. They are turning off towers to see which ones they can delete and I guess mine is one of them.. The guy at the store and the tech at customer service says there is nothing they can do about it... T-Mobile Sucks!

US Cellular stinks, since T Mobile took over.

They changed the billing date, when T Mobile took over, and I paid Decembers bill on 11/28 and today they say I'm overdue, so I paid Decembers AGAIN, on 12/29. Those of us in this house, are in our 70's. How about a senior citizens discount.

US CELLULAR service area

I lived in Wisconsin for a decade while there US cellular was fine. Moved to Mississippi. Service degrade. One phones were paid off switched to ATT on 17Nov2025. Billing period for us cellular ended on the 9th. They charged me a full month for 8 days and couldn't mail me a bill out of there service area so, I also had a 7 dollar charge to pay over the phone because the had locked me out of my digital account after switching.Bottom line there service was fine in Wisconsin if you ever think you'll move outside there service area sign up with anyone else.
