Review Time
I participated in a 1.5-hour research interview on this platform, organized for a well-known company. The study was completed, and I provided thorough answers throughout the interview. However, the researcher marked me as a βno showβ and ignored my messages. I submitted proof of my participation to the support team, but they declined to process the promised incentive, claiming attendance and completion are solely at the researcherβs discretion, with no independent verification or appeal process. This allows a researcher to gather insights while withholding payment. I dedicated considerable time based on the advertised incentive, revealing a serious power imbalance and lack of participant protection. I strongly advise against engaging in studies on this platform, as it shows a clear disregard for your time and value.
I participated in a 1.5-hour research interview on this platform for a prominent company. The study was fully completed, and I provided thorough responses during the video interview. However, after finishing, the researcher marked me as a βno showβ and did not reply to my messages. I submitted proof of my participation to the support team, which refused to process the promised incentive, claiming that attendance and completion are solely at the researcherβs discretion, without any independent verification or appeal process. This situation allows researchers to collect insights and withhold payment without consequences, even when participants provide evidence. I invested significant time based on the guaranteed incentive advertised by the platform, revealing a serious imbalance of power and a lack of participant protection. I strongly advise professionals and consultants against participating in studies on this platform, as it shows no respect for your time and value.
Iβve been using this platform regularly for over a year and have earned over $1,000 participating in quality research. Until recently, payment was prompt (often within 24β48 hours), and I consistently received high ratings from researchers. This is why my recent experience has been so disappointing. I completed a study on December 18, 2025, marked as βInterview Completedβ in my account. Now, on January 21, 2026, I still have not received payment. What makes this worse is that the researcher became unreachable after I followed up, and the support team provided conflicting explanations and missed their own promised payment deadline. I spent nearly a month following up and was told to βbe patient.β Only after repeated escalation did they claim to be βinvestigatingβ a month laterβfar too late. Iβve never had to chase a researcher for payment before, and Iβve never encountered this level of unresponsiveness or lack of accountability from the platform. It works until it doesnβt, and when issues arise, participant protection seems to break down. Iβm still waiting to be compensated for my completed work.
As others have pointed out, be cautious because their terms indicate that researchers can refuse to pay for any reason, and thereβs little the support team will do about it. I spent two months following up on a payment I was owed before the support service finally acknowledged this. Additionally, Iβve noticed that many of the positive reviews seem inauthentic. Take that as you will.
When matched well, the experience can be interesting. Iβve had some great 1-hour interviews where I delved deeply into the research topics. However, many screeners exceed what should be expected, with excessively long questions about detailed information and brand perceptions. It often becomes clear theyβre using the screeners for research purposes. There are also low-paying offers, making it hard to avoid studies Iβm not interested in. Most times, Iβve been paid as promised, but I recently encountered a study that took 30 minutes instead of the advertised 15, and the researcher didnβt mark it as completed. Customer service promised to follow up but never did. Overall, itβs a mixed experience; I check for well-paying studies, but if the questions become too detailed, I tend to drop out when itβs clear theyβre conducting free research.
This platform is frustrating to say the least. After applying for studies, I often get approved, only to find the session link doesnβt work. Iβve reported this multiple times, and the support team responds with rude emails. They waste time, donβt pay on time, or find reasons to withhold payment. The platform has a poor rating, which speaks volumes about its customer support. Donβt waste your time!
I applied to this platform but quickly found that most studies were duplicates. I kept receiving repetitive emails for the same studies, even after rejecting them. The selection was very limited, and qualifying didnβt lead to clear answersβjust more duplicate notifications. The sign-up process was easy, but the overall experience was frustrating and not worth the effort.
