Excellent service by utlita this morning, my gas has disappeared from the app lol 😆 but I was still able to top up by help of SHANI , a lovely lady who helped me with a new smart meter installation & 1 day before my birthday haha great gift but the main thing I can still top up by the shops , so thanks Shani your a star
UTLITA are super cheap NO MIDNIGHT CHARGE £0 , every other company I no takes a meter charge but NO UTLITA

Edited after getting support. Had trouble contacting a few times as the site would disconnect on both WiFi and phone data, which restarted the chat each time, but have managed to resolve. Had a call to double check everything was resolved which I appreciated, they suggested perhaps the site was under maintenance but it is an issue that has happened a few times over the last few months so may be worth looking into.
Decent company but impossible to pay a bill. I've tried numerous times to pay a gas bill but am continously left on a "processing payment" page for sometimes over half an hour. Because of that the bill gets marked as unpaid (even after the money has left my bank account) and I'm charged late fees for them not being able to sort out their website
Trying to take over an account moving into a new flat. Had the emergency help desk directly insult me multiple times after failing to describe any meters correctly in my flat. Made several life style and religious comments that made me very uncomfortable including trying to get me to praise jesus. Also unreachable for over 15 days so I have been stuck with no power. Terrible and app does not work despite giving correct to it on login. If there was a way to give 0 rn I would.
I've barely even started using their service and this alone makes me want to never deal with them again. The religious trying to get me to praise jesus from supposedly a manager on their emergency line is highly inappropriate. Regardless of Ur beliefs or what you think of a customer keep Ur thoughts to yourself and off of the call. Have some basic manners and do your job. Which their costumer service cannot seem to do.
I want to compliment the engineer that attended today Dale Keel went above and beyond he is a credit to have working for you an install that would normally be straight forward was anything but due to electrical issues on main circuit unit the engineer was professional and helped get my housing association to get an electrician to attend my property urgently to rectify this as it was there fault not his Dale was kind compassionate very knowledgeable and professional he stayed with me explained the new smart meter and left relevant information for me I can’t thank you enough for all your help and support today Dale you are a star I’m very grateful hope you get this message thank you
Only one word I can say is “Fantastic “ Sarah is the lady’s you need to speak too . She so helpful and go extra mile for you when you really need someone to help . She is amazing !!
The service was excellent & the person who rang me bk to arrange my engineer went above & beyond with his help & Paul my engineer was such a gentleman & scholar an made both me & my assistant aid dog feel comfortable & at ease So once again big big thanks to everyone who was involved in replacing my gas meter
Had a positive phone call with one of their agents who was happy to give her name for this review. Amanda Tobo. Amanda I'd award full marks or 5 stars for her assistance with an account enquiry - I'd not recieved money payment to my bank from having a credit balance when switching to British Gas.
Not only did she also quickly understand but also lodged a complaint on my behalf because Utilita blocked switching to British Gas in November three times sending out a letter. Reason given, that there was a debt on the gas. At that time I actually had credit of thirty two pound! In addition Amanda also offered follow up with a call in three days time.
I recently had a smart meter change booked in through Trustpilot they contacted me and booked me in 2 days ago utilita cancelled it which isn't going to help me going forwards because I still can't access my emergency as the display box isn't compatible with my meters im not happy as I have a disabled child that needs a heart transplant
My gas went on Friday and I applied for a power up, I owed £15.45 emergency, so I asked for 16£ only to find out they put my debt up to £16:10 so it was totally useless, not that they granted it anyway.
I managed to borrow £13 so I asked for a £6 power up to get my gas on, I live in Cumbria it is totally freezing and I'm not a well person they have denied me £6 so I can't get my gas on, I CANNOT COOK A MEAL I CANNOT GET WARM, I CANNOT GET A SHOWER, I AM NOT LONG OUT OF HOSPITAL.
I tried calling the number only for the number selection not to work. You cannot get to speak to a person.
The weather is in the minus's it is so wrong for people in this day and age to be left like this by a company that is making millions off us!!🤬😢😤🥶🥶🥶
