Made a mistake and didn’t read the FAQ about purchases over £150 from UK incurring delivery charge and import VAT, bought £140 sun glasses and a little add on, taking it over limit Got a notification from port telling me sunglasses had been withheld due to port costs Asked Vallon what was going on and they immediately refunded the VAT costs and the delivery fee without asking even when it was my mistake Excellent service, good people!
Be very careful as a UK customer. Problems with delivery due to customs and taxes and additional courier charges! Did not arrive and unable to sort until I eventually emailed Vallon to ask where product was. Not free worldwide delivery as advertised. Read the very small print as will apply to UK customers. Would not use the company again.
Love, love love these ski goggles! I have light sensitive eyes and always struggled to get lenses that I can see in, esp flat light conditions, which can knock my confidence on a tricky run... Until I bought my Vallons.I bought extra lenses for duller days but haven't needed to swap them as the ones supplied are fantastic for all conditions! Love the retro look and hi tech performance.PS - bought my son a pair for Christmas - he's a ski instructor ;-)
Ok, I don't know what everyone is talking about here. I got the heron mountain ones. The glasses are tiny, don't know who's face they fit, took em to Mt. Kili. Tried to adjust the frame, the metal wire poked a hole through the plastic right away. Generally very flimsy, the middle piece has fallen off after 1 day of use and just not worth the money.
I bought the Waylons in tortoiseshell and cannot fault them. Unlike other sunglasses, the lenses seem to be impervious to scratches. I live next to the beach and amazingly the lenses never seem to scratch despite constant exposure to seawater and sand.
