As of recent EpicNPC asks to provide personal data to 3rd party service (Veriff) to have access to site functionality again, noonetheless, every user will be able to see site content just not be able to post threads/respond if refused to provide the sensitive data. I rushed my decision and wanted to validate the info, little did i know about shady company eNPC partnered with. Once i read all the reviews and feedbacks here on trustpilot about Veriff (*cough* whooping 1.7 rating with multiple accusations in personal data trading and recent 4M$ Lawsuit-Facial Scans) - i requested from eNPC assistance on deletion of the photo of my passport/ID provided earlier on my behalf. But instead my 7yo account got banned. I used the guest account to get back on forum and leave the commend on all that situation which led to another banned account (guest one) with global moderator leaving commend (quote) "We keep the data saved unless required to be removed by law. The data ***still*** isn’t sold.". I have the screen of that post and video recording of it. Like i mention couple of times earlier - i dont trust you, your site, your partner and i dont want you to "keep my privade data saved", but we all know where its leading too (like many other ppl already mentioned in Veriff feedback section - data trading and eNPC having % from is the safest bet). I repeat again - eNPC refused to act on my behalf and request the data deletion and banned my account for no real reason, as i didnt break ANY site rules. If you care about your privacy and safety - DO NOT SHARE ANY SENSITIVE INFORMANTION WITH THESE SCAMMERS AND DATA TRADERS. If by the Monday the situation will not get solved - ill share the screen and video on social media (starting from twitter and reddit) to dismantle those frauds. Stay safe out there.
Veriff is a platform that is supposed to verify your identity. However, it is a disguise to steal your identity and data. Many reviewers have noted difficulties when attempting to use the service on a laptop, evidence that the company forces users to access it via mobile devices, so they can utilize their intrusive data collection practices, including the gathering of personal, private, sensitive information, including phone number, contacts, app information, photos and audio files in your phone, your location, background checks, and much more- all without explicit consent or awareness from users. Additionally, it has been pointed out that Veriff operates outside of the United States in Estonia. There was also the $4 million lawsuit they settled. After using Veriff, I started receiving spam calls and text messages on a daily basis. Furthermore, if your ID card is not in pristine condition or has any imperfections, Veriff may report it as fraudulent or tampered with to the business utilizing their service. Users have expressed frustration that they are not informed directly about these assessments. This has led to perceptions of the company’s practices as suspicious, unethical, and potentially unlawful. Since Veriff operates outside the United States, there are concerns about the lack of regulatory oversight over their operations. Veriff is a fake identity theft platform. Be aware!!!
It didn't verified my name well it changed it.There is no contact info on website so I cannot reach support.I used veriff from an.pro website so I could take part in a competition, but it doesn't make me a customer and because I am a student I don't have a company mail so Help center is unreachable for me.
