Doesn't work on Chrome (keeps endlessly requesting camera permission it already has) nor PC or tablet (must use phone), had to install Samsung Internet Browser on phone to verify. Apparently no support, only sales. Otherwise good, it did work on phone with Samsung Internet Browser.
I refuse to send pictures of sensitive information away - to a random company I have never heard of - in Estonia of all things. Wanted to have pictures of my driving licence - and a picture of me. Terminated my survey account - and let the money I had earned go instead. Not worth 6£ to get that floating on servers down there.There are PLENTY of better verification methods.
This company should be considered a public nuisance and is in no position to confirm or deny anyone's identity. I doubt founder and CEO, Kaarel Kotkas has ever worked a door at a night club let alone taken a class in IT security.His origin story begins, innocently enough, with an endearing tale of documents tampering in which he openly relates an incident admitting to forgery in order to bypass a simple, yet largely meaningless, security check and now the rest of us must pay for his past indiscretions for so long as he chooses to run his business. Consequently, this is where Kaarel received the inspiration for his company because who doesn’t love a good redemption arc amirite? And, though he claims to have disavowed his past criminality, we're just supposed to trust him and take him at his word that he's reformed and only wants to protect us from people like himself all the while positioning himself as a concerned industry expert by interfering with the publics’ right to conduct business unless you surrender your personal information to his, so called, advanced AI system.It’s probably worth mentioning that last year a settlement was reached in the amount of 4 million dollars between McGowen, et al. v. Veriff, Inc. The lawsuit alleged that Veriff, Inc. had collected individuals' Biometrics data through its identity verification technology without first providing the individuals with legally required written disclosures and obtaining written consent. Veriff admitted no wrongdoing despite clear evidence to the contrary.My purpose in publishing this review is to illustrate how Veriff has prevented me (and probably others) from engaging in legitimate business dealings, potentially costing me income, for failing to surrender my personal details despite Veriff’s troubled history of forgery, poor judgment and privacy abuse.
I am a new member of e-rewards and have been answering surveys for about a week. I have been able to redeem my reward points with no issues until today. Now I am required to enroll in Veriff and take a photo of my drivers license or passport as well as myself to redeem my points. I'll pass. It was a great way to get fuel discounts but I am very uncomfortable sharing such info on the internet. I just believe that it could be compromised.I do find it ironic that some of the surveys I took on the e-rewards website were about identity theft and internet security now they want me to share personal information on the internet.
I have been with e rewards for 10 yrs, now they are telling me to verify my account with Veriff which is based in Estonia. I have been reading horror stories about persons trying to verify their account with this site ant the trouble they are having. I guess I will have to lose my rewards because I do not trust Veriff, so goodbye e rewards
