Complete lack of buyer protection and encouragement for dishonest sellers

There is an utter absence of buyer protection and a system that seems to promote dishonest sellers trying to deceive consumers. I was misled about the return costs for an item that was inaccurately advertised, which violates consumer laws in the U.K., Ireland, and the E.U. My funds were taken over a month ago. Following the support team's advice, I returned the item to the seller via registered mail, costing nearly half of the item's price, only for the support team to later inform me, despite my proof of delivery, that they do not recognize it and believe the item is still on its way. Customer support is utterly disappointing. Whenever I present them with something they struggle to address, they either stop replying or provide automated responses and end the chat.

Vinted works until there's an issue...

Vinted seems fine until you encounter a problem, and then the customer support is extremely disappointing. I'm still waiting for a refund on a coat I returned over a month ago. I sent it with tracking and received confirmation it was delivered, yet I have yet to see my refund. This experience has been truly frustrating.

Decent platform until issues arise, then support is lacking

The service works adequately until you encounter a problem, at which point the customer support is severely lacking. I have been waiting for a refund on a coat I returned more than a month ago. I sent it via recorded delivery and received confirmation that it was delivered to the specified address, yet I am still waiting. It's truly disappointing.

I wish I could give zero stars. I bought a coat from a seller in another country and confirmed it would be a relaxed fit, as it was listed as size 12. The seller assured me it would fit a size 14. When it arrived, it was clearly a size 12 slim fit and didn’t fit me. After reporting the issue, the seller lied about the size, and the support team sided with her, despite evidence showing the original claim. I'm getting rid of this app due to the lack of buyer protections.

I wish I could rate this zero stars. I purchased a coat from a seller in another country and asked if it would have a relaxed fit, as it was listed as size 12. The seller assured me it would fit a size 14, so I went ahead with the purchase. Upon arrival, it was clearly a slim fit size 12, and it didn’t fit me. After reporting the issue, the seller lied about the size and insulted me. They reported me, and the support team sided with them despite my evidence. I'm deleting this app as it seems buyers have no protection. A friend of mine had a similar experience with a counterfeit item. Be cautious—you might end up with something completely different and lose your money.

Buyer protection is ineffective.

Be cautious with this service - they make you feel secure with buyer protection, but the reality is that when issues arise, there’s no chance of a refund. I received a broken item, and the seller requested return shipping, which costs more than the item itself. Their so-called “insurance” doesn’t cover this situation. I've lost my money, and they will automatically release the funds to the seller soon.

Seller protection is ineffective despite verification.

I followed all the procedures and still lost money due to inadequate seller protection and inconsistent decision-making. I sold an item through their verification hub, which passed, but after the buyer received it, they raised an issue claiming it was damaged. The item was returned stained, which was not the case before shipping. Despite my evidence and the item's verification, my claim was dismissed, leaving me with a devalued item. This experience highlights that verification offers no real protection for sellers.

My account was compromised.

I believe I was hacked, possibly through this platform. After a refund from a scammer seller, I was logged out for two days. When I regained access, all my listings and purchases were gone, and my earnings from sales were lost. I don't understand how my account could be compromised with security codes sent to my email, unless someone from the platform was involved. Please avoid this service.

Unprofessional service, don’t waste your time.

I opened an account and encountered problems right away. It’s very strange! I've sold on other platforms for years without issues, but my experience here has been terrible. Don’t bother registering; it’s unprofessional!
