I feel in my kitchen went to urgent care trays were done showed I fractured my distal fibula. The max urgent care said they could wtite me out was 3 days,but for me to call Monday to ortho doctors which I did. Doctor made a 2 week follow up appointment see how its doing mind you I have a boot and crutches. Well the women at alright is like we have 2 different Doctor release....huh no you do not if she would have looked closely at paperwork one shows from urgent care the other shows follow up appointment...This insurance company is a JOKE I have paid for short term disability almost 11 years never have I had a claim and now I do they want to drag there feet question things thats not even there. People's lives are in someone behind a computer that has NO clue. This is so not right,

Nothing with the company works. I’ve had to call three times to get my contact information updated to get their website to work so I can access my funds. And it takes them forever to even email a form they need mailed or faxed back because not a single one of their systems work to update my information. Yet they can still charge to hold my account.

Nightmare during health insurance transition.

Our previous coverage was transferred to a new management service, and it has been a disaster. We were told we had until the end of the year to apply, as the prior coverage was ending. After thorough research and several meetings with a representative, we submitted our application for a Medicare supplement plan on December 8. However, a week later, we found our applications marked incomplete without explanation. After scheduling another meeting, the representative claimed we hadn't completed the verbal signature process, despite having done so. We reapplied over the phone with her present to confirm our signatures. Yet, by December 22, our applications still showed as incomplete. The representative suspected a communication issue but could not provide a case number until December 26. Despite assurances of follow-up, we heard nothing. On December 30, just before our current coverage expired, we sought help from the original company, only to be told to make another appointment with the management service. A licensed representative acknowledged the ongoing issue but could not provide written confirmation of our coverage. We were informed about guaranteed issue starting January 1, but were told to pay out of pocket if necessary, with no escalation options available. We now face a looming deadline with less than 36 hours until our insurance expires, and I have spent over 24 hours on the phone trying to resolve this.

This service disabled my card just before year-end...

This service disabled my card two days before the year ended, leaving me with no way to fix the issue. It feels like an attempt to withhold the remaining $258 on my card. I believe this service is a scam and I will never opt for a card managed by them again. I will inform others that the benefits of pre-tax contributions are not worth the hassle. The representative did what they could, but the company seems designed to cause financial loss. Terrible experience. 0 out of 10. Never again.

Using this service is a nightmare!

GBT relies on this inadequate service for benefits. They have outsourced to a location where the representatives lack basic understanding. They read from scripts and send conflicting letters. They have no grasp of COBRA or medical benefits, and can only open 'tickets' which go ignored by the company.

Following all procedures, now we’re without coverage!

We previously had retiree benefits, but they transferred our health and medication insurance to this service for management. It has been a nightmare! We now have less than 36 hours before our insurance expires, and I've spent over 24 hours trying to resolve this.

Is anyone actually working there?

Is there anyone working at this service? We've been waiting two weeks for my wife's documents, which were sent the same day. It should not take 2-4 business days; it feels like no one is available or capable of handling these requests. People are missing payments due to their negligence and complete disregard for others' time and health. I sincerely hope this company is replaced.

Incompetent or corrupt organization.

This organization is incapable of functioning in the insurance industry and should be shut down. They consistently accept payments for policies, then cancel them citing 'lack of payment.' When questioned, they claim to have 'lost' or 'misapplied' the payments and eventually restore the policy. I've wasted countless hours dealing with their incompetent representatives who frequently lie but retract their statements when confronted.

The worst service for leave of absence support!

This service is the absolute worst for managing support during a leave of absence! The care managers are unresponsive, and the customer service representatives are unhelpful. They often lose the paperwork that doctors send them! Completely unacceptable!

Honesty about my experience.

I will be honest—I've had numerous issues with this service, but this was the worst. I was given a new login method that didn’t work. I tried my old method, but that failed too. When I called, they misinterpreted my date of birth, and the call fell apart. I requested to speak with a representative but never got the chance. It felt like a comedic disaster. An accurate representation of dealing with this service.
