Easy and reliable way to sell pre-loved items
I’ve been using Vinted both as a buyer and a seller and my experience has been great so far. The app is very user-friendly, listing items is quick, and communication with buyers is easy.
Shipping is well organised and transactions feel safe. I especially like how simple it is to sell clothes that are no longer used and give them a second life.
Overall, a very convenient and trustworthy platform. I would definitely recommend Vinted to anyone interested in sustainable fashion and second-hand shopping.

Don’t waste your time on this platform. They can block your account at any moment without any reason, claiming you conduct fraudulent activity. Either you’re a seller or buyer, you bear a huge risk of wasting your time and efforts. While they took 5 days to answer your message, they request you to reply with 48 hrs. The AI algorithm they use sucks, the customer service sucks and arrogant, the platform is simply not worthy to try. I’ve heard negative reviews on them before using. Now I regret that i didn’t believe them. Just sharing my personal experience.

I was using Vinted and randomly got banned. I have never listed anything, barely bought 2 things with the account. The report said I was "being disrespectful via private messages and making inappropriate, provocative and unwelcome comments about other members"? Which i don't understand because I have only ever asked people (kindly!!) for some more pictures of the items.
I made the appeal to get my account back, but couldn't provide any proof of my dms, because you cannot access them if your account gets banned. I also asked them to send me what was sent it and a claim/report, because I really wanted to see what the cause was but didn't get anything. I fully believe the ban was a mistake and am very disappointed with how the company handles cases like these. I never received any further explanation or justification for the ban.

Very user-friendly for sellers and buyers alike.

Extremely simple to navigate for both selling and buying. Completely dependable. My only concern is that it's quite challenging to contact the support team if problems arise (like drop-off locations not accepting items or significant delivery delays), but fortunately, those situations are rare.

Caution for those selling new items on the platform. The item was in perfect condition when I shipped it to the buyer. The buyer attempted to cancel the order, but I had already sent it. She then damaged the item and claimed it was not new. After sending it back, she received her refund, leaving me with a damaged item that lost its value. It's concerning how the platform prioritizes buyer protection. What about the protection for sellers? Buyers can damage items and shift the blame to sellers, getting away with it! Exercise caution.

I am extremely upset — and that’s putting it mildly. The way my account was blocked is truly astonishing. There was no logic, no explanation, no reason. Just like that — you’re shut down, as if your very presence is a hassle to them. This doesn’t feel like a service; it feels like a chaotic situation pretending to have rules. The support team… that’s another level of frustration. I sent them clear, reasonable questions, hoping for at least one meaningful answer, and all I received was the same empty, unhelpful response: ‘we have reviewed your case.’ What did you review?! What are you doing?! It honestly feels like they didn’t read a single message — just throwing random templates at me to make me go away. This experience didn’t just make me want to leave — it made me want to slam the door so hard the walls would shake. I’ve never faced a service that managed to push me to this level of anger. My personal experience is an emotional disaster: a mix of frustration, helplessness, and a strong desire to never engage with them again. If there were a competition for ‘how to infuriate a user in record time,’ they would be the undefeated champion.

Unfair Platform - Sellers Are Not Protected, Not Recommended!

An extremely unfair platform — buyer abuse is rewarded while sellers are punished. Based on my experience, this platform shows a systemic imbalance between the rights of buyers and sellers. It consistently ignores sellers' interests and encourages abuse. For this reason, I strongly advise against using this platform for either buying or selling. All my items adhered to the platform’s rules: officially allowed products, in perfect condition, unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. However, after the sale, the buyer lodged complaints — and the platform immediately sided with them without any objective review. I later received a notification claiming some items ‘appear counterfeit.’ This decision was based solely on the buyer’s photos, without any thorough verification or transparent criteria. What’s even more absurd is that the items were sold at low prices, yet the platform has no interest in logical reasoning. Even worse, they state that buyers aren’t required to return items if they ‘appear counterfeit,’ which creates opportunities for systematic abuse. This leaves sellers completely unprotected. As a result, the buyer gets a full refund while the seller loses both the item and payment. Sellers bear all the risk; buyers bear none. This approach raises significant legal concerns: no objective verification, no transparent criteria, and decisions always favoring buyers. Additionally, sellers face threats of account suspension for occurrences caused by buyers exploiting loopholes. This is discriminatory, one-sided, and contrary to fair e-commerce principles. As a resident of the EU, I find it unacceptable that a company operating here disregards basic consumer and seller rights. My conclusion: this platform does not provide equal protection, ignores seller evidence, and allows buyers to exploit the system without consequences. Using this platform is extremely unsafe for sellers. I strongly advise against it until they revise their policies for fairness and compliance.
