Our flight going out was stressful as we were sat with 2 children ages 5 and 7 cousins and their mothers were sat away from the children. The cabin crew were aware we were not the children’s parents and were negligent in their duty of care for the children. They should have moved the children and parents together. To add insult to injury they gave the children hot drinks of coffee and tea which were spilt on me and the cabin crew did nothing.
Coming home was worse as we were getting a connected flight and it was delayed by a short time and when we got to the small airport even though they had been told and our bags had been security checked before they only allowed all 10 of us to take on our carry on bags and we had to leave our luggage at St. Vincent airport with Virgin refusing to send our bags back to us. We didn’t leave for over an hour and a half and they had plenty of time to get our luggage on. The Virgin manager was rude and very unhelpful. The local staff would have helped if not for her. Very sad that a big company has such a bad training of their staff.
The food and drinks on the journey back were also disappointing and not what was described on the app of what would be available. On the whole a very stressful experience. I have heard Virgin has bad reviews but believed they could not be as bad as people had told me. I now have personal experience and will not doubt bad reviews again.

On a nearly 11-hour flight to London, meals were not served for over 8 hours, and when they finally offered food, it was of poor quality with no choices available. I strongly advise against using this airline. If I could rate it zero stars, I would. I booked premium economy seats, but my confirmation indicated economy. After over 40 minutes on the phone with customer support, they hung up when I decided to cancel my booking. Now I'm stuck on hold again.
I was shocked by how this airline has lowered its standards to below even budget carriers. The omelet served was rubbery, and the food tasted like it came from a microwave. Another passenger mentioned they upgraded to business class for a hefty fee but received limited service. It's disappointing that this airline can't reach the level of other top carriers. I flew economy lite for a long journey, and my food tray kept sliding because a passenger in front had their seat fully reclined. The crew should ensure seats are upright during service, but they ignored this basic principle. When I complained, the response was dismissive, and I felt insulted. I've flown with many airlines and have never faced such treatment. I expected better service for my fare, and I’m thoroughly disgusted. Despite receiving pajamas, my experience has led me and others to decide against flying with this airline again. Unprofessional and poorly trained crew!
Due to the unprofessional customer support, I can't fly with this airline and had to purchase new tickets with another carrier. I believe the employees need updated training. I will never recommend this airline and will not travel with them even if offered free tickets.
The app and website of this airline are incredibly poor, to the point of being unusable. They frequently crash and freeze, and I currently can't even log into the app. This is the worst digital service I've encountered with any airline.
I flew with this airline on January 1, 2026, and it was the worst experience imaginable. I booked an exit row seat for extra legroom due to my knee issues, but was given a different seat in a cramped corner. The staff was dismissive, and I felt embarrassed in front of other passengers. Throughout the flight, I struggled with discomfort, and my requests for assistance were met with annoyance. By the end of the flight, I was in significant pain. I had originally booked with another airline but ended up on this one. I will never fly with them again and cannot recommend them, especially in economy class.
