Thank you Virgin Balloons for a magical Friday night! Very pleased to finally tick this off my bucket list. Adrian the pilot was very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about what he does. Emma and Ian on the crew were great, all really friendly. I’d recommend it to anyone but advise patience as you never know how long until you’ll get a flight, I took a few years but others one my flight were lucky on their second or third go!
Had my balloon flight at the Bristol balloon fiesta. It was the most incredible experience I have ever done and witnessed! Our pilot Matt was lovely, funny and very professional! Big shout out to the crew Moira and Caroline as well, they were lovely and thanks Moira for giving a shoulder up with my mum to get in the basket!
Had the worse experience with virgin balloon on my birthday at 2 o’clock it was cancelled!! So I have to change plans I been ask for money back but they didn’t keep asking as to rebook them from October to March it’s stop fly so I call and ask that I’m worry it’s run out the advisor said it’s will not ! Now I call and another advisor said it’s run out I need pay extra and now they can’t find any avidance of my calls to prove what other advisor said to me !!! So now all money for my birthday is waisted thanks Virgin balloons for terrible service experience and ruining my birthday!!!!
I am getting very frustrated with no reply to my email to Virgin Balloon Flights customer services.I note replies to customers who have put a review on Trustpilot, to contact customer services with voucher no’s.No good because they do not reply.
Nobby and his ground crew team were fantastic from start to finish for our flight experience from Bath! After two cancellations we were lucky enough to fly on the third date we’d booked.The whole team were really attentive, informative and were super friendly and welcoming. It was a really lovely atmosphere and Nobby is a fantastic pilot. Not only was he flying the balloon solo, he was happily giving us a tour with facts about the areas and local history and answering any questions we had.We were encouraged to get stuck in and help set up and pack away which was a fun communal experience and the team’s instructions were very clear and calmly explained, but yet it was made to be quite fun still.A few celebratory bubbles at the end was a fantastic way to end the trip after a successful flight and a signed certificate!It breaks my heart however that people leave bad reviews because of flight cancellations - if it’s unsafe to fly because of bad weather that isn’t the team’s fault and they shouldn’t be punished for that, they’re just doing their job!Hats off to everyone for an amazing flight. I’d love to go again one day. Thank you to Nobby and his whole team!
Amazing crew is all you need for a memorable experience. Chris was an amazing pilot, right from start to the finish. He was accompanied by Mike and Ed, both of whom equally contributed towards making our flying experience extremely comfortable and a memorable one.
