I ordered a 1ml test bottle of a popular fragrance. The sample arrived in a small plastic pump bottle, suggesting that the company decants the perfume from larger containers into these plastic ones. This could potentially alter the fragrance's scent. Unfortunately, my sample did not resemble the authentic product at all, and while it lasted a maximum of two hours, the scent faded significantly after just 30 minutes. It seems like either they are diluting it, or the supplier is, or perhaps the plastic is compromising the quality. I already own a genuine 100ml bottle from a reputable retailer, and this sample was nothing like it. When I requested a refund for my small purchase, I received a series of long and defensive responses. I’ve decided it’s not worth my time; they can keep the £6.30 and their subpar fragrance.
