Absolutely awful experience with WebEngage. Their support is unhelpful, their platform unreliable, and overall it caused significant damage to our startup. Emails were frequently sent to spam, harming our domain reputation and leading to countless lost transactional messages. Logging is so poor that it's impossible to track whether an important email was sent or even view its actual content. Journeys and automations often failed silently.To make things worse, support staff logged into our account, created test workflows without cleaning up, leaving our workspace cluttered and confusing. We were on the startup plan, and WebEngage nearly killed our startup. We will never use them again, and we now actively avoid the brand whenever we see it. Strongly advise others to do the same.
WebEngage is a joke! Avoid at all costs! WebEngage has been, without question, one of the most frustrating and disappointing platforms we've had the misfortune of using. If you're considering relying on it for anything remotely important, think again.What’s promised as a robust automation tool quickly reveals itself to be unreliable, glitchy, and shockingly opaque. Key features don't behave as expected, logic breaks without explanation, and the user experience feels like an unfinished draft.Worse still is the so-called support. Slow, unhelpful, and completely disengaged. You’re left chasing vague answers, getting passed around, and waiting endlessly for fixes that never come. It's like yelling into a void.We burned valuable time, lost momentum, and got nothing in return but delays and aggravation. If you value stability, clarity, or even basic functionality — this is not the tool for you.Unless you enjoy putting out fires and manually fixing what should be automated, stay far away.
