I’ve ordered three different jackets from the company over the last few years, and all have been fantastic and extremely well made. The only issue I encountered was with one style being a bit snug for me, even though my measurements were correct. I replaced it with another design that fits perfectly. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience.
The craftsmanship and quality of leather that the company uses in their jackets is truly outstanding. Just the weight of the jacket in your hand indicates it is a quality product. So, it's clear that whatever jacket you buy, it's great value for the money. My only advice when ordering is to take your time with sizing and read the descriptions carefully, as there are different styles and fits. It's worth the effort because when you get the size right, any jacket feels like the best you've ever worn.

The jacket is top-notch quality, definitely an investment piece, but quite affordable in the realm of sheepskins. I believe they provide excellent value for money. Shipping was very quick. Ive been looking for a vintage flying jacket for some time. Did all the research, but I have to honestly say go straight to Wested, you wont find better. On delivery I really wasnt expecting the quality, suppleness and fit of this jacket for the money. Certain heritage British brands would market this vintage brown jacket well north of a grand, but dont expect a compromise - there isnt any. On recent visit to the Strasbourg Xmas markets I can confirm its superbly warm, comfortable, a great fit, superb stitching and very durable zip. I aim to buy British, proud to say Wested do not disappoint. This jacket is crafted, not made. It looks amazing and I couldnt recommend Wested more.
My wife ordered the Raider's Jacket for a birthday gift. We went for the custom fit version in the distressed leather, with an extra pocket, D rings and X stitching. Delivery was prompt and without a fuss (including the import duty to Ireland which I thought was going to be stressful). The jacket fits like a dream and looks the business. I'm no Indiana Jones (although I am an archaeologist), but this jacket will feature on every adventure going forward!
I'd seen the company on the socials and was really excited to finally place an order but sadly my excitement was short lived. I found the cut and fit of the jacket very poor and as for the 'leather' I actually found myself questioning if indeed it was proper hide and not some kind of synthetic 'pleather'. It had no smell of leather and just didn't feel like leather. I returned for a refund which cost me over £20 to send adequately insured as to be honest I had little trust in the company given the experience. The company don't refund the outbound shipping so in total it cost me £30 to find out that this was an ill-fitting garment of poor quality with questionable material. Their return policy infringes consumer rights too. I am just relieved that I didn't buy a custom version of the jacket as I initially considered given I would have been at even greater loss if returned, which undoubtedly it would have been.
