Westfield Fasteners provided a Westfield Fasteners provided a very poor level of service on a recent order for almost £2,000. The whole process, from order confirmation through to customer support, felt misleading and unprofessional.Despite advertising next‑day delivery on many products, I was informed after placing the order that delivery would take two weeks, which was not acceptable for my needs. When I called less than 48 hours later to cancel, I was told I would be charged a 25% handling fee, even though the operator confirmed the order had not yet been processed. The attitude on the call was rude, unhelpful and showed no willingness to resolve the issue.I followed up by email to cancel the order, but my messages were ignored for three days and the goods were dispatched anyway, leaving me with little practical choice but to accept the delivery. On top of this, I have since confirmed that their pricing is significantly above the market average, and this is not the first time they have let me down.In summary, my experience is that they are overpriced, unreliable, and do not treat customers fairly once they have secured payment. Excellent service received yet again from Westfield Fastners. Needed some stainless steel screws for a project at home so used Westfield Fasteners, great range of products and options, plus delivery choices. Items were despatched and delivered very quickly. Have used Westfield’s before and will use again if I need to. Thanks.
Very clear website. I was ordering stainless steel hooks, for external use in a confined space, and appreciated the drawing provided, alongside a table which gave the relevant dimensions for a range of hook sizes. The order was processed immediately and delivered promptly.
