Really good experience with Westminster Collection. Lady rang with regards to my purchase, which was for me but my mother has claimed it. Anyway, she asked me if I would be interested in the RAF 50 Pence Piece? At, the same price as my original purchase. I can't afford alot but it was an offer l miss out on, plus I can put it with my Dad picture as he served in the RAF (not that you'd think so, when he passed) and he loved the service.
Apparently I was signed up for a monthly subscription which I was not aware of. Also I noticed that other people have the same issue. I tried to delete my bank card details but I got a reply saying that I can't delete the card as I have a payment outstanding? This has to be a fraudulent company that deliberately misleads people into paying for a subscription. I was under the impression that I was only paying for the one Titanic items. Please avoid this company or at least make sure you don't get caught out. Update: To be fair, they have responded to me quickly and they have explained and sorted out my issue. So I will change the star rating to 4 stars because of the quick customer service reply.
Due to an error on my part, I did not realise I had signed up to a subscription, my only criticism would be that a more clear message should be more transparent however I contacted the customer service and the very nice lady sorted my query out. Very polite and professional with no hard sell. Thank you .
Whilst ordering the VE pin a pop up advert appeared asking if I wanted to purchase a spitfire coin on special offer of £1.00. I agreed to this "special offer" as my 12 year old nephew is really keen on WW2 planes so thought it would be nice for him. At no point during my transaction did I understand I was agreeing to monthly subscription of £25 per month. I have contacted to company to cancel monthly card payments but reading other reviews am not convinced this will happen without complication. Hopefully this is not the case or obviously I will need to take the issue further. Can I suggest that on your Web page you make it very clear at the start of transactions and adverts that the "special offer" is infact a way of getting customers committed to monthly subscriptions!!
Ordered a VE pin badge from this company, I thought what a nice gesture to introduce a company , and looked on there website , some nice coin collections , But how wrong I was , over a month now, payment taken and still no pin badge , so looks like a company that takes too much on and fails to honor orders , DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST
