I brought 2 VE badges paid for them by credit card.Few days later I received a display box and two further badges. I hadn't ordered them. Went to my Credit card company to find that a charge of £ 22. 89 had been taken. Completely unotherized by me.Here's the responce when I demanded to know why I was being charged for something I hadn't ordered. THEIR EMAIL BELOW:I’m sorry, when the order for The VJ Day Pin Badge was placed online we advise of the subscription before the item is added to the basket, through out the order and we also sent the information with the order.On the order email confirmation we advise further payments will be taken from your card.The collection has been cancelled and no further deliveries from the series will be sent.Your payment card details can be deleted on return of the item I SAW NOTHING THAT SAID ANYTHING ABOUT A SUBSCRIPTION. When I rang my Credit card company, they KNEW exactly what I was talking about as they had several people phoning about this. Sneaky way to get card details then sign you up. Very unethical very dogdy
Ordered the rememberance Poppy coin which never materialised. Randomly sent me two coins i had not ordered billing me 26 pounds because they had signed me up for a subscription because i ordered the coin i didnt get. My bank has now blocked them they dont answer the phone. Avoid.
They save your card details, charge you without your knowledge, a subscription You’re probably not aware of and they do charge you. I cancelled my card. And will no longer order from this company. Previously, I paid my bill for my order and they tried to charge me again. I will never order from them again. This company is a SCAM
I will not recommend purchasing from this company under any circumstances. I recently purchased a Poppy coin which was sold at £3.99, I received numerous emails that it was out of stock week in and week out. I finally received it and it was perfect. What I did not know however, was that without my knowledge I was enrolled in their 'subscription' as a part of this purchase. Roll on two months from when I made my purchase, I have a lovely £26 sitting in my pending transactions on my credit card from these crooks. No warning, no email, no messaging... Just a £26 hole in my finances. I will be complaining and requesting a refund of this. Steer clear of this company, unless you want to be out of pocket.
I ordered a Jeremy Fisher 50p on November 7th. After waiting ages with zero sign of the coin, I called for a refund. I was told to “give it another week.” Fine. I waited. Called again a week later, and then they finally agreed to issue the refund.And guess what shows up today - November 28th. Three whole weeks for one coin to arrive. Absolutely ridiculous. I won’t be ordering from you again; I’ll stick with the Royal Mint from now on.
I've bought my coin collections from here for a few years now and I really don't know why I've been bothering. This is the 3rd time they've duplicated my order and charging me AGAIN. Sending me the same coins out that I've already paid for and received. I've had a few experiences were I've ordered a coin and then they've signed me up for the rolling subscription that I haven't even signed up for.I don't know why I've put up with this for so long. Won't be using this site ever again.
