Review Time
Same as 20% of people seemingly. Requested one coin for a family member. Suddenly I've agreed a subscription that I didn't know about. I have also signed up online to address this issue online. Customer services spiel on phone says this is quicker. After signing up and trying to log inked being told details provided not recognised we have sent an email. EMAIL NEVER COMES. defo not in spam folder either.Saving grace hopefully. Got through to customer services eventually now fingers crossed everything cancelled. Though Customer services person did not respond to my comments re online services. Just Blanked.
Misleading and underhandYou would’ve thought that the amount of reviews relating to ‘unknowingly entering a subscription’ would concern the company. Not a chance - ‘we make it clear blah blah blah’. Well, you absolutely don’t make it clear. I’m very much alive to these ‘subscription traps’ and I didn’t see it. The same is likely to apply to the other people who have had surprise debits from their bank account (naturally well before you post the product we didn't ask for and don’t want). Expected response - ‘sorry you feel this way. We do make it clear at every step blah blah… you can send back the product (you didn’t ask for and didn’t want)… ‘Whatever you write (not that I, and several others, saw it) - probably just meets some kind of legal threshold. Maybe write this in large font bold!! Although I do accept that this may risk customers actually seeing it.
