I signed up, through an advertisement they gave as we bought our house. I got my first bottle, went to cancel as advertised. First you get a bunch of annoying begging to stay with them, then you can't even cancel online. You have to ring them, and it has to be weekday 9-5. No reason for that whatsoever. Just let me cancel. They just want to get money from rich/unorganised people. Not on.
Top marks for product, presentation, and personalised customer service. It's not really priced to compete with full sized bottles from online retailers and if you buy your spirits from your big supermarket then you might feel a pinch of disappointment. As a members' service, it's a lovely treat to look forward to, and that's part of the point. Makes a great gift and a good talking point amongst friends. I'd kick the little print magazine, whack a QR code on the box, and cut £3 off the price.Members' area has a redeemable points system for internal reviews. Phone service (thanks, Finlay) for queries and cancellations. Option for bi-monthly delivery. Recommended.
Firstly, the whisky is half bottles, but very good all the same. I had to stop my subscription due to a change of circumstances and Julie was very helpful. She did manage to get me to use a voucher I didn't know I had to get a bottle for half price, so great at selling without pushing and leaves me with a bargain!
Julie made my day by giving me a wee call just to check on how I was enjoying the wine subscription. Her lovely friendly demeanour over the phone and a wee chat too and offered me the whisky deal with just paying postage for the first month. My day just got better! Thank you Julie so much. You are amazeballs 🤩
