The customer service is great, when I spoke with Charlotte she was warm, professional and really efficient. This would encourage me to interact with the company again. The missing star is because of the company policies. It’s a subscription service, but it’s a real shame that you don’t get a reminder ahead of the next payment/delivery. If this was available, I’d be far more likely to opt to skip months but keep the subscription, but as it isn’t an option, I have found myself in the position of cancelling both subscriptions (whiskey and beer). You can skip months if you log in, but you have to remember to do it in advance, which is something that I can’t be trusted to remember just now! The route to cancellation is also a pain, you can select the option on the website, but this just serves as an opportunity for the company to offer you various discounts, and then you have to call to cancel, mon-fri 9-5. It feels quite draconian for a modern subscription in this day and age.
I have loved my Whisky 52 subscription since I started. The whisky has been consistently excellent and it is really interesting to see just how global the art of making single malt whisky has become inspired by the home of whisky, my birthplace and homeland, Scotland.I have had to pause my subscription and Kaye, who took my call, could not have been more helpful and was able to arrange for my sub to be paused until the New Year which I didn’t even know was a possibility so thanks, Kaye!
