I purchased an outfit (~$500 for singlet and mini skirt) before midday on a Thursday, and paid additional $15 for overnight shipping. On their shipping page as viewed on mobile, it says that will get me next day delivery. Unfortunately my outfit didn’t arrive till Monday, so the event I planned to wear it to over the weekend had passed. I requested a refund of the $15 shipping plus free returns (cost $10 to return) and was told that’s not possible, even though the shipping guideline was incorrect. If a customer pays $15 for ‘overnight next day delivery’ as advised on the website, that is what they expect. If the brand does not meet the standard they set, the customer should be entitled to a refund. Very disappointing customer service, not worth shopping with them again. I’ve had similar situations with brands before that have been much more positive experiences, regardless of whether they can refund me or not - they meet me halfway and apologise. With Jean is not worth the hassle.

But the Sienna top from a girl on Depop brand new, got a little bit of pen on the bottom of it looked on the website for the care instructions section, and it didn’t mention anything except the composition. Used a wet cloth to lightly wipe the area and it’s nearly torn little holes in the shirt. For a nearly $200 top this is super disappointing, if the fabric is that sensitive it should be mentioned in care instructions. I know other high end brands will warn there customers. I would honestly fight for a return if I had bought from website but it was sold out so I purchased through Depop. Super disappointed.

With Jéan = Scam

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Not only are their clothes overpriced for the (poor-ish) quality, but the return policy is the worst thing in existence. I got clothes on Boxing Day sale and without informing me (of the return policy when buying the items) you cannot return sale items. Can't exchange, Can't get store credit. The worst thing I have ever experienced in customer service, especially since their sizes are all over the place. For such a well known brand I'm actually shocked at how scam like this store is. Never buy from here.

Horrible customer service

Ordered a shirt for my daughter for Xmas. She didn’t love it and wanted to return it. As others have mentioned, their return policy is ridiculous and their customer service is horrendous. The shirt was marked down from $139 to $125 so considered ‘on sale’ and not returnable. This policy is not explicit on their website. Most sites will state outright in bold if something is not returnable. In addition, to initiate a rerun, you have to email the company to get things started. Probably so they can make up some reason why they won’t accept your return.

Paid for items that have not been shipped in violation of their own stated shipping guidelines and visa policy regarding charging before shipment.Multiple inquiries as to when shipping will take place have been responded by AI scripted responses.Terrible company.Their marketing only takes them so far...My engagement with this company will be no more. Another customer lost due to their crappy customer service.Let's see how long this company lasts with their terrible follow through.Initiating chargeback at this point.

Horrible policies and customer service

Bought an expensive sweater that was marketed to be a slouchy off shoulder top. It ended up being itchy and fit so awkward, didnt fall of one shoulder as advertised. I also purchased a couple other items, loved the dress but had a blouse run very small. I wanted to return the sweater and didnt realize it was 6% off. They told me it was final sale and wouldn't make an exception for store credit or anything.. for 6% off. Absolutely disgusting policy. To top it off, both the sweater and blouse were heavily discounted 2 days after my purchase and they refused to do a sale adjustment. The lack of customer service and insane policies makes me never want to purchase from them again. It was my first time ordering from them and unfortunately even though I love the styles, it will be my last. This is not how you retain customers.

Dishonest and deceptive practices

Ok, never ever do I write reviews but I’ll make an exception for With Jean. I ordered a white shirt in XXS and then it arrived it was simply too small for me. Their sizes run ridiculously small by the way. I tried to return the item just to learn that it wasn’t eligible for a return because it was evidently on final sale 😳 For the record it was on 8.5% sale, less than 10%. They explained it to me that I was supposed to read their terms and conditions before purchasing. What? This reminded me of fraudulent payday loan scams with hidden interest rates. This is vile and frankly unacceptable business practice. Hiding behind fine-print “terms and conditions” that no one reasonably reads instead of clearly marking an item as final sale is deceptive and disrespectful to customers.If an item cannot be returned, it should be explicitly labeled as FINAL SALE on the product page and at checkout — not buried in policy language. That’s what honest businesses do.

Shirt super dirty and horrible customer service

I had ordered a shirt from them, and when it arrived it was super dirty with spots all over. I reached out to them, and it was clear that their responses were AI automated offering either to return the item with no compensation or to keep it and get a refund so small that it wouldn't even cover the cleaning bill. I responded, that their offer was absolutely not up to what their standard of quality should be, after which a new person wrote the exact same message that I had received before with the exact same bad offers. Don't buy from this brand!

Bought a bikini from With Jéan for…

Bought a bikini from With Jéan for $180, was happy to spend that as they’re supposed to be designer. Even though I took measurements before buying and picked the suitable sizes from their size guide the bottoms were way too small.They don’t accept returns on bikini bottoms so I was unable to return the bottoms although all tags and hygiene sticker was still attached. There was also a tag on the bottoms saying if I left this tag on they could be returned… The quality also felt similar to a SHEIN bikini with threads fraying out of the seams. They looked very tacky in person. Disappointed, would never shop there again.
