Silly me. I ordered two very expensive gifts on a Joy registry for a family member. If I had ordered directly from manufacturer I would have saved almost $200 dollars. price match is only for MSRP.I would have rather sent the extra $200 to the bride and groom. I will be reporting to them that sucks. I saw other items on the registry that also were unfairly priced. You call yourself a free site and easy to use. Well it SUCKS for the guests who are buying gifts. NO BUENO. Mother who has planned 4 weddings.
I would never use With Joy or "Joy" again. It has caused me no amount of Joy!Super buggy, messed up my RSVP's, had to use multiple ways to try and fix this, customer service were mildly helpful. I had to use an incognito tab to fix RSVP's.... Who the heck would know that's what you're supposed to do.Link's to website didn't work, ect. So many things wrong with this. Would not recommend.
The website for Withjoy.com is horrible ! I cannot believe that in this day and time they make it so difficult to do something as simple as placing an order online. It is almost impossible to place the order. After several tries, and reaching out to the company, which there is no way to contact them, I deleted my order. I went to another website and placed my order in 5 minutes. I WOULD NEVER, EVER RECOMMEND THIS WEBSITE TO ANYONE !!!!
I saw some people talking about joy online for wedding planning so gave it a go… big mistake. I wasted no end of hours trying to work around their weird systems, unhelpful customer service. Honestly nothing made me happier than deciding to switch to a different platform and close my WithJoy account down. It’s a real shame, I really wanted the free one to be good, but it was wishful thinking - I guess you get what you pay for. I ended up going with a paid option instead and it’s been a dream. Not sure if you’re allowed to mention other companies in these reviews but I’ll pop a review on their page too in case you want to save your time and sanity.
This website is horrible! Spent an hour trying to figure out how to navigate the website to purchase a simple gift for a baby shower... thought I had purchased the gift, only to find out that I was charged $4.99 by the site for I don't know what (I guess the e-card indicating that I was purchasing the gift and having it sent), yet the gift was never purchased. Redirected me to the store's site to buy the gift, but could not complete the purchase (kept toggling back to the "joy" site). So, I ended up just going to the store, buying the gift and a paper card, and sending the gift myself. Came back to the site to verify the mailing address before I sent the gift, but I can't access the address page... the site just keeps sending me to a page to "verify" the purchase of the gift and to enter the tracking information. Frustrating waste of time! Do NOT use this site!
We used withjoy for ur wedding and no issues at all. For a free service we were very impressed.I will say that I didn't find the app great, but the web version worked a treat to get RSVP info, and provide guests with an FAQ etc.We used a separate registry, so I can't speak to those features.
No stars should be an option!! This app is horrible. To start with there is no explanation as to how the site works. Next they try to get you to purchase an E card for every purchase which of course is separate. They charge 5.99 for them. If you scroll down there is a small print option to bypass this again, not explained . The site is horrible to navigate. All items are sold separately and you get hit for shipping on everyone. Items can not be put into a cart and purchased together. You also can’t purchase item right away when it is reserved it bounces you all over again not explained how to do it. Customer service is a joke cannot speak to anyone , chat employees are rude and obnoxious. Whatever you do don’t start a chat near lunch time. This site is the worst ever. Do not register here please and if you need to purchase a gift, look at the list and buy elsewhere . The Knot and Zola are awesome
I wish we never used this service. It's very slow and painfully unreliable. I'm now in a situation where I've got to contact guests individually to confirm their RSVP because not all of them have come through even when guests have actually done it. Absolute nightmare.
