Be Careful before you buy.

I bought a mini chainsaw in July and gave it as a gift but it wasnt opened and assembled until recently 9/25. The chain guard will not close to cover the chain and is clearly defective. Also the spring kept popping out during assembly. The chain guard issue is clearly a safety issue. When I called customer support they said too bad, already past 30 day return policy. I brought up that OSHA and BBB would be notified and the rep didnt know what either one was. The customer service rep hung up on me.

My sister purchased a hand chainsaw from wood rangers she put had it put together properly and it wouldn't even cut the bark on a limb she called three or four times sent emails they wouldn't even send her a return label. They wanted her to pay $60 to send it to receive only $88 which is not the full amount that she paid never buy their products they have terrible customer service.

I purchased a wood ranger hand saw

I purchased a wood ranger hand saw. It does not work, it won't even cut a twig. I called 3 times & was told they do not send out return labels. They instructed me to go to UPS and mail it back, well ups told me I had to mail it from the post office and it will cost me $60, so I spend $97 and some change, and $60, for a return of 80 something dollars The math is not adding up they have terrible customer service and they're selling junk.

A lot of polite runaround

I love these little saws when they function. The customer care team is polite and attentive. The problem is the product! Saw was replaced after this issue... used the little a few times and experienced issues with chain coming lose/tension issues. That was frustrating, but this is beyond frustration!!! I used the thing July 17, until it needed a battery recharge, brought it in to charge, decided to do some cutting the next evening July 18. Put the battery in and BAM!!! the thing was going. Scared the hell out of me.The safety just stopped functioning over night. I removed the battery and pushed the button a few times and tried again.Same thing, That saw sparks to life the instant the battery is seated. The replacement saw is no better. chain comes lose after a few minutes. I get cranky after walking a good distance to do some work and get only 5-7 minutes or so use out of the thing. I give up on them !!! If you like frustration, Order one.

Incongruent Specifications and Product Description

This is indeed a mini-saw, It is indeed light and able to be operated easily w/one hand. It does cut branches up to 4" However, upon unpacking I quickly noticed several Technical Disparities: Having done extensive testing with saw side-by-side with a Lovewe 8" cordless I bought from TEMU(for $30 less) The first thing I noticed was that neither of the 2 Ranger batteries had any data plate or sticker only a 24V Li-ion sticker. I inspected the DC adapter and cord and its no surprise I found the wall adapter indicated an output of 21 V. So they provided a charger incapable of charging The batteries to their advertised capacity(24 V)Testing both batteries immediately after their 1st full charge. Both showed 20V despite the 21V continuous output from the charger. This(to me)indicates Wood Ranger knowingly engaged in false and fraudulent advertising practice, misleading the consumer. This is when i focus up. Because its not only yours and my and every other consumer's loss, Its their massive gains at the cost of our loss. Shut them down.

Wood Ranger Mini Electric Saw

Ordered premium kit for Christmas . Kit came missing xtra battery and chain. Contacted them foe 3+ months to get it. Finally came. My husband took it out charged it, this was the 4th time using it and the motor burned up . Customer Service said sorry your 30 days are up. Have a nice day. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Don’t waste your money.
