I pay gmail $145 per month. This service went from $14 in 2025, to now $22 per 6 users costing me $145 per month. I attempted to cancel this terrible service on Feb 9, 2026. They want to charge me $890 to cancel this service. Why would I pay to cancel a service that I pay for monthly? If I do not pay the email service on that month I will not have access to my emails. So why am I paying in advance? This is draconian and needs to be alleviated. Gmail is not the mafia or overlords to charge these excessive fees. We are a small business that will take our business elsewhere. This is a terrible company, I have complained to several different agencies and this will be resolved. But they have now lost another customer. There not doing us customers favors.

Google Workspace charged me despite my cancellation. I now hear this is quite common. When trying to call them, 2 of the 3 numbers I tried said that they were no longer taking calls at those numbers. The 3rd one required a PIN # before proceeding which, if you no longer have an account because you canceled (like I did), you can't talk to anyone either. Why is this cheating company still allowed to be in business?
I had a very frustrating experience with this system. A simple activation issue took over a week to resolve, and it was extremely difficult to reach a human support agent. Most of the time, I was redirected to automated systems that did not address my problem.Shit customer service - stay away from this dodgy Google Workspace
I got a subscription together with a 20% offer. Not even one month later (so 2 weeks after trial period but still before the first ever bill), I noticed the offer is now 50%.Because I am still a new customer (not even one month yet so still no payment), I did shoot a ticket to support thinking it was fair to ask for benefiting from the new offer in this case. I was then very disappointed that I only received excuses (TBSS) and could not get any fairness or commercial gesture from it.I'm now extremely disappointed, but have quite some time ahead to find another solution waiting for my subscription to run out...
Terrible customer service. I had a tiny issue to fix, it was a nightmare: 3 weeks of chats, emails, with their customer service trying to close the ticket even if the problem was still there. They scheduled two phone calls with me and never called. The worst customer experience and incompetence I've seen from online provider. If you read this, don't subscribe to this service, it's bad.
Our company, PR PROS Communications Limited (Ireland), experienced a serious administrative lockout of our Google Workspace environment after a former director changed passwords and access credentials without authorisation.Despite promptly opening an official support case and clearly explaining that the individual no longer holds any role or authority within the company, Google Workspace Support has so far failed to provide an effective resolution.We were repeatedly asked to complete DNS-based or admin-console verification steps that are objectively impossible in this scenario, as both the registrar and the Workspace admin account were compromised by the same former administrator. Requests to proceed via manual or alternative verification using corporate documentation were met with delays and non-substantive responses.As a result, our company has been without access to critical email and operational systems for an extended period, causing material disruption to business activities.Google Workspace is marketed as a core business infrastructure. In cases involving corporate governance changes and rogue administrators, we expected a faster and more pragmatic recovery process.
If I could give 0 stars, I would.Terrible and unprofessional service. They cancelled my domain immediately after I unsubscribed, even though I had paid for the domain for a full year.Never, under any circumstances, give money to these scammers.Their domain resellers (Squarespace, etc.) are horrendous as well.
