Review Time
I have to say having seen reviews left from the UK I was a little nervous, however I can’t fault my experience. Ordered 18th Jan, arrived 26th Jan - very well packaged and had an email from DPD with tracking etc. I haven’t had any dealings with customer services so can’t comment on that side of things but 5* from my experience in fairness.
No nonsense bottles!World of bottles have a great selection at wholesale prices. I've used them to stock my home with various bottles and jars, as well as to send whisky samples to my family abroad.Everything was packaged, no breakages or other issues.
Placed an order on the Friday, there was no confirmation email and the transaction was sat pending the next day. Contacted them Monday as I assumed there would be no reply over the weekend. There was never any reply or email from them or invoice or anything. Order arrived the following Friday, bottles are excellent, well packaged and no damage even though the outer box looked like the courier had dropped or banged it. So very happy but dropped a star for exactly 0 communication.
I was so concerned about the reviews on Trustpilot that I nearly cancelled my order. I wrote to the company to express my concerns and to ask about shipping and packaging, but I didn't hear back. Their prices were good and I couldn't find reasonably priced Weck jars elsewhere in the UK, so I went ahead with my order expecting the worst.I am pleasantly surprised to report that my jars arrived on time, well-packed, and very well-priced. I never did hear from the company so I assume their customer service is terrible, but luckily I didn't need to interact with them in that way.It's a risk to order with this company, but in my case it definitely worked out well. I would say 1* for service and support, but 5* for price, packaging and product. The latter matters more to me, so I'm giving them 4*.
Great company to deal with, very very large selection of bottles. Bottles came very well packaged and in great condition. Delivery was about 5 working days, so quite quick considering they shipped from Germany to UK. Very happy will be using again in the future. Pleasure to do business with!
