Rip offI couldn’t make a flight in June that I had scheduled so they told me I had to either reschedule or lose my money so I rescheduled to November 21 and I just hung up on the phone with them and they said they cannot find my flight with my phone number and the information I gave themSoooo that only means that they took my $250 by a blink of an eye and don’t give two rats ass about it. This woman is on a fixed income and they just easily go take my money like that. Tell me they cannot find it when they can find it when I rescheduled back in JuneDon’t fly this airline. Lots of hiden fees. My son back pack was a little over and didn’t went all the way down on the check size and I was charged another $100 just for my son’s back pack . They didn’t let us board and made us pay on the spot and the flight was leaving in 2 min and we could have missed our flight , they did that to other passengers. Was very stressful. I will never flight with them again. They show dhecoaee prices from other airlines and them you got pay the carry on fees , I never seen any airlines chargers carry on fees . My flight ended up being over a $1,000 just to flight to Salt Lake City.
I have a flight on 10/10 to DFW. I called on someone who walked me through the check in process. No email confirmation ever came. I called back later and was told that my reservation was cancelled by the airline due to over booking. That was a lie. I went on to the web site of American Airlines and the flight was not full but I had to pay 1300 instead of 550.This is a scam company. They promise but do not deliver
So I booked a hotel thinking it was good one on their website . Come to find out they are in renovation so pools will be down . Cheap air tells you that you have a month to change your hotel . What they don’t tell you is that if you change it you won’t the package price you received at first . So when you book the package you pay for hotel and flight . When you try and change the hotel , the hotel alone cost as much as the entire package you booked so you really can’t change it unless you willing to pay twice what you paid at first . They suck big time , traveling all the way to another country and what you were told at first is not true and they don’t care . I knew I would have to pay a difference but not double . Use someone else they will rip you off if they can .
Anyone would like to book a flight do not book it through cheap ears. The customer service reps are very rude and very unprofessional.They will also the duck money from your account without your permission on things that you did not select to purchase. It only take a couple minutes to deduct money from your account but take 7 to 14 days for you to be refunded the money. Cheap air also will try to manipulate you as if you did something wrong as if you purchased something and not for sure what you purchase when you know what you have purchased just don’t book any flights hotels through this company anymore.
I’ve had two separate bookings with CheapAir where I selected and confirmed a flight at a specific price, only to be told after confirmation that the price had changed due to an alleged airline update. This feels deceptive and unprofessional. Once a booking is confirmed, the price should not change. If this is a regular occurrence, it borders on bait-and-switch tactics. Customer service offered no real solution. Be very cautious—what you see may not be what you pay. I won’t be using CheapAir again.
To whom it may concern my name is Liezel DeguinonI just wanted to share my story flying with Cheap Air, since it was a worth story to tell, my frustration and disappointments lingering and must sit at my computer to write.I booked a flight through Cheap Air Flying Vancouver to Manila, Manila to General Santos City (Philippines Airlines) Last February 28, 2025, Booking reference #86599991, Cheap Air had moved the time of the original flight from Manila to General Santos City, I phone them and says I won’t be able to fly that Manila to General Santos City (April 2, 2025)since will be arrived Manila 5:30 Am and the flight to General Santos city move to 4 pm, I was clear that I won't take that flight, they did not inform me that if I no show It will affect my flight back, It frustrate me to think that I had spoken with them in the phone clearly that I won’t be able to take that flight and they say nothing about it will affect my flight back, why, because they want to make money and make my life miserable nobody seems to care nobody inform me emails or calls that my flight back in cancelled, considering I’m on my vacation.March 27, 2025, we all packed to go and tried to check in online only to find out that my flight is cancelled, calling Philippines Airline, Cheap Air put me on hold from 12:Am to 5:30 am in the morning trying to figure out whats going on, very unprofessional don’t know how to deal with customer hang up on me many times, what I don’t understand is I told them I won’t be able to flight that manila to general Santos city since they move the flight and now they cancelled my flight back that I already paid for it, and now they told me to book a flight back.Long story short, I had to purchase a ticket back which was the cheapest for the 3 of us $4674.6 and they couldn’t find a flight back the next day so we had to wait till April 3, 2025, extended my stay 5 days spending money with hotels, figured out where to stay since our check out is next day, and missing the day of work, these people no idea what we been through and flying with a small child.I can’t express enough my frustration, I try to let it go and forget about it but I have to do something about it, so in total round trip from Vancouver to General Santos city we spent $10,000, re buy a ticket back when it’s not my fault, as a customer I should get my money back since it’s not my fault and changing hour of flight when its not my fault and we have schedules to make we should get compensated. This is the worst flight of my life, I hope everyone wears my shoes. and understand where it's coming from, I was not able to sleep that night not to mention spending a lot of money for something it’s not my fault. The Airline rules are very unacceptable if no show they will cancel your flight that you already paid for, tell me if that makes sense.All in all, I just want to share my story and hope that it won’t happen to anyone.
I booked flights from Cebu to Melbourne Australia with Business Class Flex Tickets using a 1 month stay as a start off knowing full well that needed the flex facility as I was going to have some medical treatment in Australia and did not know how long it would takeThe Flight to Australia was fine with minimal layovers via Singapore Changi Airport.After arriving in Australia I contacted Cheapair via Chat to extend my departure date date by 1 month until end April. The agent forced me to pay change fees on my flex ticket otherwise would not help mePlease note that a flex ticket is a changeable ticket without fees unless the airline increases the airfare which Singapore Airlines did not. The agent told me the airline fare had increased but Singapore Airlines told meth had not increased the fare. Singapore Airlines told me that because I had bought the ticket via Cheapair I had to have the travel agent change the booking. When I aproached cheapair to change the booking wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars to change the booking. After extensive arguement with cear air agent the changed my booking for a fee of AUDD319 plus international transaction fee of AUD11.90 for a flex ticket. The agent told me that the company policy was to charge customers a fee for changing booking no matter what the kind of ticket.During April month I needed to move my booking forward again and again had to go via cheapair who charged me a further AUD158.58 plus international transaction fee of AUD5.55.Cheapair sell flex tickets but do not honour the terms and conditions of purchasing a flex ticketDefinition of Flex Ticket s belowA Flexible (rebookable) Ticket allows you to change your flight tickets no matter what the airline's rules are. If the price of the new ticket is higher you only pay the difference.Note that all rebookings are subject to available seats and can only be made with the same airline as your original tripI then completed my medical treatment and wanted to change my booking to an earlier date and Cheapair tried to charge me USD1250 to change the booking so I did not do anything after thatI have reported chearpair to the Attorney Generals Office of Consumer Fraud in New York City but have had no positive action yet except acknowledgment of my complaintMy suggestion is that under no circumstances buy any travel facilities and tickets from Cheapair as they are dishonest and do not follow IATA Travel Agent Rules
This web site is crap. I booked a flight and when I received my itinerary it had a totally different travel date and time. When I called to have it corrected I had to pay a $318 fee because they said it was my fault. Their customer service sucks. I will be blogging about this website and not in a good way.
