Do not use this company !!!!!They use predatory quoting tactics To rope you into to signing a deposit/quote Then they duck and dodge you for a week stringing you along until they triple your price they quoted you. I am contacting the attorneys general in hopes of having them investigated so they are forced to close or do the right thing! This is a horrible company
Day 7: Still No Refund – This Company is Dishonest!I want to be very clear about my experience. The representative over the phone was adamant for two days straight, trying to convince me that I had to put in $300–$400 more in order to get my car shipped. He kept insisting “that’s what it is,” when in reality it was not what I agreed to. Furthermore, he told me I would not get a refund because I was breaking the contract. I told him directly that I was not breaking the contract—they were, because they failed to provide the service we agreed upon. That is a breach of contract on their part.Despite that, he refused to return my money. Everything he said was misleading and untruthful. I only just saw their reply here on Trustpilot at 1:00 AM this morning, where they claimed they had already processed a refund and that it would reflect in 5–7 business days. In reality, today marks the seventh day—I have checked my bank account and there is no refund, no email, no message, and no phone call from them at all.On top of this, I have been shipping my car for the last 20 years—this is my fifth time using auto transport—and I have never had a company try to raise the agreed-upon price after I signed and paid the deposit. Every other transporter I’ve worked with has always honored the original quote. I have never even heard of a legitimate company saying, “the price might change.” That is not how this industry works, and it shows how dishonest this company truly is.Their words and actions do not align. They only wrote their response here because of my review, but in reality, they have not refunded me or communicated with me in any way. The representative I dealt with was dishonest, pushy, and completely unprofessional.Stay away from this company—they are not truthful, they breach agreements, and they will take advantage of you.
Really terrible experience. I’m not going to blame it on one particular company (because maybe it’s just the car/vehicle shipping industry in general) but these guys need to feel the effects of what fraud/bait and switch are. I’ve done multiple reviews on them at this point, and will continue to do more to drop their rating even more. In short, they offered me a quote. That quote was SIGNED IN A CONTRACT. Then it changed… not once… not three times, but FOUR times!! Then, upon deliver the carrier Two Ways Freight, LlC changed the price again. They’ll be getting very poor reviews as well. Ivan, the Ukrainian could barely speak English driver didn’t give two shits about it. Good to know. Don’t go with this company. Even the dealer I purchased the car through didn’t put the title in my car because he felt something off about the whole situation. Buyer/shipper BEWARE!!
These people are scam artists. They take your deposit with no intention of providing the services they advertise. They are also under insured. I had to report them to the DOT when I discovered they were in breach of contract and were not going to fulfill the services I put down a deposit for. They believe they can get away with these scams too. They will tell you, you are working with other companies and therefore do not have to return your deposit. I only had one car to transport so why would I work with more than one company. That’s the scam they run. They are now under investigation for federal crimes. Use at your own riskUpdate: I thoroughly enjoyed the response this company cooked up. The tone and information provided are a lovely work of fiction and a complete change from what we had to deal with while we were considered ‘customers’. Enjoy the show they put on for the sake of being able to continue providing a scam instead of actual service. Again, hire at your own risk.
Say NO to US Car-Go. This company is a scam. This is my experience: I was contacted by Mike Adams from US Car Go Freight on July 23 regarding a car that I need to have transported from Oroville, CA to Littleton, CO., I told him that I needed to have the car picked up from the Oroville location Before Aug. 18. Mike said that was no problem and gave me a quote of $600, ($200 to be paid now as a deposit and $400 cash is to be paid to the driver upon delivery at the drop of destination). Great, let's do it. I digitally signed the agreement that Mike had sent to my email, and paid the $200 deposit the same day. A Timeline of events:July 30: Concerned that I had not heard anything from Mike or any US Car Go Freight reps. I contacted Mike via text msg and asked if there was an ETA for pick up. He promptly responded and told me he arranged pick up for Aug. 11. Aug. 8th: Contacted Mike to find out a time frame that the driver would be here on the 11th. He said btwn 3-5 pm.Aug 11: Received a generic text message from US Car go saying they are actively working on my order and trying to find a driver, sorry for the delay. Shortly after this message, I received a message from Mike telling me that if the driver was not there "today" then a driver would be here the following day to pick up the car.Aug. 12: I requested an update. Mike said he had arranged the pick up for Aug. 14Aug 14: I asked for an eta. I had even offered to take the car to meet the transport driver somewhere that would be most convenient for them. Mike said no, they will come to my doorstep to pick up the vehicle.Aug 15: Mike sent me a txt to tell me that the driver that was supposed to pick up the car, was loading a Dodge Ram 3500 and "shattered the ramp on trailer", so he will have to arrange for another transport for the following day. He apologized but assured me that the car will "FOR SURE be picked up the next day". (Seriously!?! Those ramps of made of STEEL Michael, NOT fiberglass, they don't SHATTER.) Aug. 16th... It is now 10:55 pm and the car is still waiting to be picked up. I have sent several messages to Mike but he has Ghosted me and I have not heard a single word. Monday is the 18th, I will be on a flight and the car, (that should have been on a truck heading to Colorado), will be in California. So, Thanks to Mike Adams and US Car Go Freight for dropping the ball, complicating my life, wasting WEEKS of my time waiting for a bogus driver to arrive, elevating my stress level, ripping me off, and opening my eyes to how truly incompetent you all are. This company will con you into signing an agreement, locking you in so you can not hire another transport when they don't follow through. This is a disgraceful, pathetic, deceitful, bottom feeding company that needs to be dissolved and forgotten. I seriously doubt the 4/5 star reviews that have posted about US Car-Go Freight, are from actual customers. I know better now and should have done the research. Please don't make the same mistake I did, go to the BBB website and search this company. Negative ratings, numerous complaints, fraudulent and deceptive business practices, bait and switch tactics, refusing to refund deposits, keeping ppl locked into an agreement so they are unable to hire another transport. Avoid doing business with this Shady transport company, they cause more problems than solutions. Screams "Class Action Law Suit" .
