Review Time
Avoid at all costs and time! They will take a one-month or one-year upfront payment for an online SIM card, but it's impossible to register.. I was prepared to pay for the registration at an A1 store, but the keeped coming up as an error in their system. And every traffic store in Vienna I stepped into was not an option to register SIM cards. I returned the card, and I'm still waiting for a 34 euro refund. Customer services will just say that it's a requirement to register your card in Austria, and will ignore that every attempt you make to register is not working.

I paid for an eSIM on Friday and the verification process was one of the worst I have ever experienced.I uploaded all the required documents multiple times and the system simply did not work.I then contacted support and sent my passport for manual verification. I waited the entire Friday and also today (Saturday). I contacted them many times and received dismissive replies like “we will help you as soon as possible” but no actual assistance.I still have not received the eSIM email. Their support was available only until 5:00 pm, which left me without internet for the whole weekend, and I still don’t know if they will even respond next week. This is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible service. You will lose both your money and your time.Avoid this company.
Worst internet in the world. I've traveled all Europe and North Africa and I didn't find such bad internet anywhere. In the countryside of Morocco with a local sim card is better internet than this. I cannot comprehend how it's possible to provide a service, sell something, and make it so bad that the only thing you're selling doesn't work... How can someone work in such a bad company and not be ashamed of themselves? Terrible terrible service. Wow I did not expect this is possible in Europe. If this happened to me somewhere in Kirgizstan, I wouldn't be surprised. But in EU this company should be banned.
I am still struggling to even activate the SIM, it's been 2 weeks. I went from store to store trying to activate my SIM because for some reason the online photo verification is not working despite trying multiple times and writing to customer service. And no store even offers to register your SIM and activate it. I went to MediaMarkt, A1, Mobile shops, hartlauer. Absolutely horrible. I've lost my money buying this SIM.
One of the worst companies out there, I think they are doing illegal stuff but for some reason nobody cares to investigate them. Had to cancel my contract, submitted all the documents as described in their page, and I get the answer after a few months that I still need to hand-write a termination letter even though I submitted the form they have created explicitly for this purpose. The reason why they answer a few months later is simply to keep charging you as long as they possibly could, and the funny part is that they will notify you about the hand-written termination letter one day after the pay day, so, you still get another month to be charged. Never using their service in my life again. Another lost customer for 20-30EUR extra they could squeeze in.
Also commenting on Yesss.at (obviously). I concur with contributor Greg's important review and echo his most accurate assessment. I have been using this service for years, but it is all over now. For me, in my experience, something nasty has happened to Yesss, but relatively recently. Yes!, you will want to trust this company because it is easy, but you will discover that it (deliberately or whomever wilfully) could misappropriate your money. Maybe it is a money e-scam that the non-robust systems cannot detect and therefore prevent such scams. It could be a hacker-class entity that weak Yesss systems cannot deal with. But money pre-loaded into your account may be at risk of theft. I think that this development is quite new, overall. Also, customer services may be being conducted by AI bots per email. I was in communication with such an "operative" via email (stretching over weeks), "it" acted in a stable manner, used near similar language across all of the communications, duplicating info a lot and showing no human individuality - minor content acknowledgements, but never actually fully realising what the issue really was, i.e., potential fraud with money taken within the system and the system unable to report historic transactions - which is very odd for what should be a A1 supervised commercial enterprise. What A1 will ultimately say about this will be most interesting to hear if it turns out to represent theft on a commercial scale. This is the review and reflections merely of a customer. Good luck to all and I hope that Yesss may build systems that can actually detect and trace payments of all kinds, because evidence shows that this feature of their account management is quite absent. Regards!
